With brakes pinned and the pug uncoupled, the shunter walks away from Barclay 06003 after the loco had positioned a cut of 16t minerals at the Tullis Russell paper mill. At the time of the image, this large complex took coal for its steam boilers and china clay and caustic soda for the papermaking process by rail.
Rail continued to serve the mill until the 1990s but in April 2015 the mill went into administration; the site has since been cleared and is now a housing complex.

Theme: Goes together like paper and paper clip
Size: Less than 3x3 inches
I used a black paper for the shell, paper clip for the head and feelers and smaller rolls of white paper strips. They sit on a mirror.
The background is a yellow physiotherapy band and orange plastic paper.
There was 3 light sources at 4, 8 and 12 o'clock.
Many thanks for your visit, comments and favs...it is always appreciated.

Parcel boxes and wrapping paper always provide new entertainment for all cats.
Thank you all for visits, favs and comments, it's greatly appreciated!
This is the "Tapress" - the newspaper for Tappan Zee High School. It's spooky when you start seeing yourself in print. I'm in the sports section for christ's sake. outrageous.
but really, that picture is something else. the perspective and line and focus are twisted. The resolution was way less than I thought it would be in the paper. they spelled both Eli and Michael's names wrong. They got my shit right though. yeah!
this is fucking cool. I've been in this city since 1984 trying to fucking do something just like I'm doing now but I could never have imagined this shit at all. Digital is king now. I find it hard to believe it will be forever, but while it's here I'm there.
Paper daisies in front of the lavender bushes in our garden, with just a touch of dewy moisure on them.
Pretty paper clip bookmarks for your journal or book.

It's amazing the colours that can be created using white + 1 colour. Speedlight shone from underneath onto 1 colour )paper/plastic)...
A macro portion of a watercolor painting on paper. Designed as a greeting card but is currently used as a piece of "refrigerator art." Watercolor on paper by pre-kindergarten child. Note: the black designs were already on the paper; the child provided the watercoloring.
