Late 1800's school house our friends bought and banged into shape. Looks normal but walls are 2' thick stone and mortar. The interior was sort of a wreck cosmetically when they got it, but the structure is so solidly built that cleaning sanding and painting made it eminently livable. Now they can relax a bit and work on it as they go.

met Garry in his wheelchair when out trying some street photography today.. he was so proud of his new pal ..

The fisherman's little compadre, "Pierre", is a rescue dog who came from New Orleans all the way north to live in historic Occoquan with his pal.

 

Dog speak: "Hey, Boss ! It doesn't look like there are any fish in this river. How about we pack it in...maybe stop at McDonald's on the way home ? "
