Rice fields at Salvaterra de Magos, Portugal

.......................................................................

Every year, at the end of harvest, the rice fields are filled with straw that has to be burned to prepare the land to be sown the following year.

Photo taken for the group: Crazy Tuesday

Theme: Light painting

Light painting is pretty new to me, in fact I've only ever tried it one other time. I don't have the proper tools but made do with my led lights and a helpful hand from my husband. We managed and had fun in the process !

Sony NEX-7 + WILON 85mm f/2.8 (projecteur)

Hiked down the trail in the afternoon heat to get this lower perspective of the Painted Desert there in Arizona. Really neat colors and patterns in the rocks and landscape.

My artwork. "Staccato". Acrylics on board. 100x54 cm. 2018.

A flower photo from the esplanade that I wasn't keen on, so I decided to spend some time on it and artify it and now I'm quite keen on it!

All thoughts most welcome as usual!

While we were in Chiang Mai we took the opportunity to look around some of the craft villages that the city is famous for. The best place that we went to look at was this place where they still make traditional unmbrellas both for shade and rain.
