Gresley Class P2/2 2-8-2 No. 2003 Lord President passing through Princes Street Gardens with the 17.15 to Aberdeen including a portion off the "Flying Scotsman" in 1937. It was built in 1936 and was one of six P2s built specifically for the difficult Aberdeen route with its steep gradients and severe curvature, although the first two were very different in appearance without the streamlined front end. All six P2s were rebuilt by Thompson in 1943/4 as Class A2/2 Pacifics. Colourised photograph taken by A C Cawston.
There used to be a number of metal recycling and scrap facilities south of Davis-Monthan in Tucson. Almost all are now gone. The P2s were retired from the Navy around 1984. Photo October 2008.

I've had no dealings with any of the following "SCAMMERS" however felt it was a good idea to make some sort of reference point that exposes Flickr members who have been accused of scamming in the past.
