Bubbles is a 4 year old kitty who was dumped in the Brooklyn shelter with an e-collar on! she is a contender to the Prize for the Plump(est) Polydactyl! She has a perfect spade on her face and loves to cuddle.
The Samoyed Association of Minneapolis and St. Paul participates in a Responsible Pet Ownership Day sponsored by several clubs in town. It was at the Washington County Fairgrounds.

The country park is only young and was designated in 2002 when South Somerset District Council established ownership. The country park is in a unique position, sited only 5 minutes walk from the bustling town centre and offers open access green space to residents and visitors.
The Country Park is comprised of five main areas all of which have very different characteristics and land features. The landscape varies from Ninesprings which is the most heavily used and accessible section with its network of footpaths and waterways to the Riverside walk which gives the feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle of town as you stroll through woodland following the path of the River Yeo.
Yeovil Country Park received Country Park accreditation from Natural England in 2009. Natural England believes that everyone should have access to good quality natural green space near to where they live. This provides a broad range of benefits to people and the quality of their lives, covering all the ecosystem services we depend on.
Natural England expects that, “People will have places to access and enjoy a high quality natural environment”. This is often more achievable in urban communities than in rural communities, particularly in lowland agricultural England where there is often poor access to quality green space.
The Green Flag Award Scheme recognises and rewards the best green spaces in the country. The joys of home ownership.
I come home from work Thursday evening around 4:15 to clean the yard. The leaf blower engine seizes up 5 mins into the activity (because the idiot me used the wrong can of gas, it didn't get the oil it needed). So I decided to rake the leaves the old fashioned way. By 5:15 it was dark and I kept going and managed to clean out the backyard. It was green.
24 hr later, on Friday, Jen comes home and this is the scene she finds. All the remaining leaves decided to come down on Friday. Just a day after I cleaned the backyard.
Wish I had procrastinated!

This prototype reduces the cost of housing through using local labor and building techniques that expedite construction (two homes were completed in 9 weeks). By creating their own construction company and developing a housing design that fits their environment and culture, the people of Atmautluak are moving toward a sustainable future for their community.
