The pair of GMTX GP38-2's that were being leased by the South Shore have now been bought and currently plans are for these units to be rebuilt, repainted, and renumbered. For now they remain with GMTX reporting marks and older paint. Here we see them leading a westbound freight through Ogden Dunes

We’re excited to share that hair4alluk is now under new ownership.
Phil, the founder of hair4alluk, has decided to step back from the industry to focus on new projects. We’re incredibly grateful for everything he has built and contributed over the years.
The business is now owned and operated by one of our long-time clients, who brings over 20 years+ of experience running businesses and ventures. With a strong focus on enhancing both service and customer experience, we’re looking forward to this exciting new chapter — and can’t wait to share what’s coming next.
As part of this new chapter, our HQ in Bristol is undergoing renovations. During this period, appointment availability may be limited for a few weeks.
We’re also happy to announce that Debi will be returning to the business — we’re excited to have her back on board!

A bit of a mystery record really...
It was in the box with my mum and dad's singles, but neither of them claim ownership or know anything about it/The Pinkees, so it's now mine!
The internet isn't too helpful...there isn't even a Wikipedia page for them! It would seem they had a few singles, there's a coupler on ebay for a couple of quid each, no album though! This, I think, was their best selling-reaching No. 27 for which they appeared on Top Of the Pops with. They had one album-self titled that is only available on vinyl (so far...) but some kind soul has put a download up, so I'll have a listen...

I don't usually post photos of the mundane (or, at least I don't try to). But this was a big event. The sewer line from the house had been disconnected through decades of rats, water, and settling of the ground. And the 2 inch kitchen pipe was on the verge of collapse. In fact, the bottom of the line had rusted through and actually broke in one section.

We watch the Batman movies and wonder if the people of Gotham are doing enough to help themselves; why are they relying on Batman so much, we ask. We need to step us and help ourselves sometimes.
I created this mini-poster using ComicLife software, from a movie trailer screen capture.
Knocking doors in Maghaberry, pre-election, the number one issue in the area was dog fouling.
I took the time to speak with the Senior Dog Warden about the issue, and shortly afterwards, council leaflets and 'poop bags' were distributed to homes in the village. Even my wind-swept Gold Retriever was keen to get in on the election action!
