I was made aware of this place by an acquaintance. He received permission from the owner for me to photograph this site. I understand now that there is some mental instability at play and I don't visit it.
I'll just note that it was the home of a photographer. The owner has apparently personal feelings against his long deceased relatives who lived here. They've been gone for over 40 years. The owner allows all to slowly decay into ruin for personal reasons.
According to the owner (not a fan of castles and roses) the painting was done at the suggestion of an unknown artist in collaboration with the previous owner/friend who selected the subject, 'Alfie' the 1966 film starring Michael Caine. When considering having the other side also painted the friend's wife requested 'something brighter' misheard by the artist as 'Brighton' - hence the waterfront and 'Quadrophenia' reference. www.flickr.com/photos/petertee/50050889791/in/dateposted-...
During Covid Lockdown, the owners stayed home for weeks. It is great to hear too that a good amount of people have decided to keep working from home after Covid.
The owner was not visiting Marti's Salon, but rather the Village Tap Bar & Grill, which is two doors to the left. I have been familiar with this Model A Ford for several years now, and happened to catch it by chance in downtown Manchester, Michigan after having lunch on June 24, 2020 across the street with my friend Dale.

The SOCATA TBM (now Daher TBM) is a family of high-performance single-engine turboprop business and utility light aircraft manufactured by Daher. It was originally collaboratively developed between the American Mooney Airplane Company and French light aircraft manufacturer SOCATA.
The TBM 850 is the production name for the TBM 700N, an improved version of the aircraft powered by a single Pratt & Whitney PT6A-66D engine, which is flat rated at 850 shp (634 kW). The TBM 850 is limited to 700 shp (522 kW) for takeoff and landing; however, during cruise flight, the engine power can be increased to 850 shp (634 kW); this extra power provides the aircraft with a higher cruising speed than the TBM 700 models, especially at high altitudes (due to the flat-rating). The outside appearance of the TBM 850 has remained similar to that of the standard TBM 700. The TBM 850 has a typical range of 1,520 nautical miles (2,820 km). Beginning with the 2008 model, the TBM 850 has been equipped with the Garmin G1000 integrated flight deck as standard equipment
