i like to follow random lines to see what i can find, i feel that we can also create things without overthinking, sometimes things are a lot more interesant when you do them with out thinking.

A performance based on the impacts of overthinking on the human body

For the self representation, I glued my favorite interests as cutouts layering what are the most important to me on the top. The lower of the three art paint splatters of my favorite colors to represent my love for art, in between is a cutout of a piano to show as one of the largest parts about me is my passion for playing the piano, and the top layer is a cross made of music for the piano. On the same layer, I made a barbell weight to symbolize my love for growing stronger and the dedication I put into my growth as I am very passionate about growing stronger and being better than who I was yesterday. I combined the representations of my faith and the art of music to symbolize they are not just my interest but who I am and what I follow over anything. I also used one of my favorite pieces to play as the sheet music I used to make the cross. At the bottom of the page I wrote the word “passionate” to show what I want to dedicate my life to which is my passion for music and to live out my life passionately towards my religious faith. Finally, I filled in the places that had no larger cutout with many lines of my favorite colors moving freely and not straight to show some aspects of my mind as I struggle to move in a straight line with how I struggle to focus and get easily distracted as well as sometimes having trouble with lose or overthinking and can never fully stay on task.

Salam Muharram 1447H. Semoga permulaan tahun ini dipenuhi rahmat dan barakah sementara penghujungnya dipenuhi keampunan. Alhamdulillah for the amazing year with our amazing support system and the blessings. As I reflected back on the year, Allah banyak melindungi kami from unforeseen things. For us, things always happen for a good reason. I don’t know how to explain. Secara dasar nampak macam scary or odd that it happened, but then when the blessings come macam subhanallah. Terlalu banyak hikmah. As simple as our recent Qatar trip. I don’t believe in gut feelings. Gut feelings can lead to so many whispers of Syaitan and overthinking. I believe in real things. I’m a realist, a practical person basically. I’m a barakah-chaser. I see the barakah flowing to my kids, my husband, my home, our rizq and everything. This is part of my original idea 'The issues of Overthinking' methodology. A key scene in this story is where Riley and Sam are properly introduced to each other and so I have created a storyboard to show how I would like the scene to be acted out.
