This is a fall view of a little piece of the Takhini River Valley as seen from the old Dawson Overland Trail between Whitehorse and Braeburn in southern Yukon.
Another HDR. I Photomatix version is much more dramatic; that guy could be carrying a couple of stone tablets and I wouldn't be surprised.
The view of overlander falls. Even though this was one of the only mornings I got out, the light was still too bright and I had to use my big stopper to get the water as smooth as I was looking for. So black and white was the way to go.
took the tranzscenic overlander train from auckland to wellington. it was a 12-hour trip, but the beautiful new zealand scenery made it worthwhile. (don't worry, your speakers aren't broken - the sound on this video is muted.)

machine pieced, hand quilted around each letter shape and through each background row
Overlander running slowly through the loop accross Kapiti Rd (due to a ballast tamper & regulator working on the main). Crossing lights etc not working as they have just been replaced & not yet connected up.
