This piece of art golden statue was created by the Japanese artist ‘Takashi Murakami’ and placed for display at the front yard of the ‘Royal Palace of Versailles, Paris’ (2007 ~ 2010).
Takashi Murakami is a Japanese contemporary artist. He works in fine arts media as well as commercial and is known for blurring the line between high and low arts. He coined the term "superflat," which describes both the aesthetic characteristics of the Japanese artistic tradition and the nature of postwar Japanese culture and society, and is also used for Murakami's artistic style and other Japanese artists he has influenced. Twickelervaart

Wildflowers are a passion of mine and when I see a new one such as this type of milkweed, I get all excited. I found it in a woodland setting and it grew quite low to the ground. The tiny white and pastel pink blooms are quite a bit smaller than the other milkweeds that I am familiar with. If you look closely, you'll see a few visitors amongst the blooms.
Thank you for your visits and comments, they're very much appreciated. Have a great day!
This spiral staircase at the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick is a bit odd as it's made as an oval instead of completely circular.
