Las singularidades climáticas que se dan en las Azores han servido para que las plantaciones de té en São Miguel sean uno de los atractivos turísticos que visitar en la isla.
De hecho, la peculiaridad es que São Miguel es el único lugar de Europa donde se cultiva esta planta foránea que tanto se consume en el mundo.
Históricamente el té ha sido motivo de conflictos pero también de pequeños placeres. Su consumo se origina en algún lugar de China hace miles de años pero no es hasta el siglo XVII cuando, con el comienzo las grandes exploraciones marítimas, comienza su expansión por Oriente y Europa.
Vasco da Gama fue quien abrió las rutas comerciales que facilitaron la entrada en Europa (y Portugal) de esta planta aromática. Desde ahí pasan algunos siglos hasta que llegan a São Miguel primero como planta ornamental y después como un cultivo extensivo aprovechando el buen clima de la isla.
La fábrica familiar de té de Porto Formoso es un lugar muy tranquilo que transmite mucha paz y es imprescindible tomar un té con miel y unas pastas y sentarse en la terraza tranquilamente mientras observas las vistas a los campos, al mar y a las hortensias.

L'Orient Express, il treno a lunga percorrenza più famoso al mondo, appena arrivato alla stazione di Palermo Centrale.
Il lussuoso convoglio degli anni 20, appartenuto alla Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-lits, è arrivato in Italia per promuovere il progetto turistico "il Treno della Dolce Vita", nato dalla collaborazione tra Arsenale SpA e Trenitalia e che realizzerà i nuovi treni crociera italiani dal 2023.
Il treno è arrivato a Palermo composto dalla locomotiva e646-028 della Fondazione FS, tre carrozze ristorante e tre carrozze pullman di cui una saloon bar.

El edificio principal de la estación de SIRKECI se inaguró en 1890 coincidiendo con la prolongación del mítico "ORIENT EXPRESS" hasta el lado occidental de Estambul cerca de lugares tan emblemáticos como Santa Sofía, Palacio Topkapi y Mezquita Azul.
El mítico Orient Express que iba desde Paría a Estambul tuvo su época dorada en el periodo entre guerras hasta que su último viaje con servicio regular se realizó en 1977 por no poder competir con el precio y la rapidez de los aviones.
La fotografía muestre la fachada "interior" -frente a las vías- donde está situado el restaurante de 1.890.

Op donderdag 16 maart vertrok de Venice-Simplon-Oriënt-Express weer vanuit Amsterdam naar Venetië. Bij deze trein is het altijd belangrijk om rekening te houden met de lengte van maar liefts 14 rijtuigen, mijn plan was dan ook om naar de loopbrug aan de Isabellalaan in Den Bosch te gaan. Bij aankomst op de brug bleek er toch meer zonkans te zijn dan voorspeld en aangezien je hier al enkele jaren alleen maar vanaf de westzijde kunt fotograferen fietste ik door richting Helvoirt, op zoek naar een nieuwe stek. Het vinden van een stek bleek moeilijker dan gedacht, met minder dan 15 minuten op de klok was deze locatie de laatste optie, alles of niets. Uiteindelijk bleek de dijk aan het riviertje Broekleij een prima fotomogelijkheid, na zo’n vijf minuten gewacht te hebben komt de volledig blauwe trein om 11:28 in zicht. De 186 292 van Lineas is met de 14 rijtuigen als trein 19203 onderweg richting Roosendaal, Antwerpen, Brussel, Aachen en uiteindelijk Venetië.
E' un hotel di lusso ricavato nel fabbricato un tempo adibito a Madrasa. Dove c'erano le celle degli studenti ora ci sono confortevoli camere. L'ingresso al cortile dell'albergo è consentito ai turisti che intendono visitarlo.
