Sirkeci Station, original Orient Express end- (or start-) point. Icelandic volcano forced us into a train ride home, from Istanbul to Malmö, Sweden.

Finished my design for a Baggage Car for the Orient Express IDEAS set. Based off a train set from REE Models, these cars are slightly smaller than the standard passenger coaches.
In order to navigate R40 curves, the middle wheelset slides using the same functionality as the tender, and the outer wheels rotate on a swivel as well. This functionality is not necessary on R72 and up.
The buffers swivel separately to allow for the steps to be static, and use the design I planned here.
