This tree caught my attention during my hiking tour through the Hiller Moor, free standing, in a poor soil but strong and proud. Hille, Ostwestfalen, Germany

Image Notes: mere moments after this was taken we were inundated with one heck of a hail storm. This was taken in the same vicinity as my previous post with a slightly different angle and after the sunset light had ended. This bolt was really close!
