SSC: take a shot of the weirdest or most unusual thing you own
Found on one of our shelves, made by my daughter when about 10, I suppose it is an orc.
These orcs are bigger, stronger, and smarter than their mountain orc kin. They're dangerous and crafty, merchants beware!
This is the last of five orc structures I entered into the LEGO Bricklink Designer Program BDP7 competition. It has a chance to become an official LEGO set.

Orcs; Travel in wandering bands of up to 100, to the belief of many they are dying out.
This is for a figbrawl between Joel Tyer (tagged) and I. Our category was Orc Wanderer. Please be sure to vote on *cough*mine*cough* whomevers you like most!
After a long journey through foreign lands, the mighty orc Grumnak finally set foot on familiar, though long-forgotten, soil. His goal — to unite the orc clans and restore the power and glory of his bloodline.
The first step: a visit to his uncle, the old warlord Bragdor Bonecrusher, who had been living in exile on the edge of the desert since the rise of the witch-shaman known as Blood-Eye.
Here, among jagged cliffs and sun-scorched sands, lay the camp of the outcasts — the last stronghold of Bragdor’s kin.
Upon seeing how strong Grumnak had become and how many loyal warriors now stood behind him, Bragdor saw hope rekindled. Together, they forged a pact of bone and flame: to march against the self-proclaimed ruler, Blood-Eye the Shaman, and reclaim the lost might of their clan.
Another view of my orcs fortress, showing a bit of moduarity. I really need to make more shots with the walls separated... soon.

I finally got some photos of this orc. It is loosely based on Grommash Hellscream from World of Warcraft (of which I have honestly never played- but orcs are awesome regardless). Someday if I ever have the finances to justify buying all the necessary parts I'll build out his full body, but for now this is a bust of an orc. I used my technique of putting the mini-fig eyeball heads in helmets upside down to achieve the intense eyes of this beast and a vast majority of parts came from the LEGO t-rex Jurassic Park set. I have come to absolutely love dark tan as a color through this build. It is my most stable build to date and is pretty robust throughout. I hope you like this orc.

Guldok commands the infantry and also serves as a negotiator and enforcer towards the smaller orc packs. Yugrok has begun to join many races of Orcs together to rebuild the Great Orc Pack. Orc foot-soldiers range greatly in size and fighting abilities. There are many large and dominant Drexler Orcs, which are more orange in colour and wear traditional face paints. In addition to the Drexler, there are the Crine Orcs, which are smaller and more sandy in colour, who have many facial piercings. They are armed with whatever they can get their hands on. They crudely mend broken swords of their enemies, or buy weapons forged by Kruk blacksmiths to the North West, on the island of Krükland. The orcs speak many languages including the tongues of Men.
Though Orcs have a reputation of being pure evil, there have been several famously good-natured Orcs over the centuries who have been lived in Thronfeld peacefully and some who have even served as translators for Thronfeld's Kings. However, in more recent history, the hatred between Men and Orcs had become too great for such pleasantries. This bubbling hatred boiled in the Seven Year Orc War, which resulted in thousands of deaths on both sides and left neither faction in any state to rule Esterdame. Now that time has passed and each side has recovered, it seems another conflict is on the horizon.
So I am riding fantasy themes recently. Its one of the pieces that will, hopefully, go on the FX dvd.
One day experiment with a large figure. It is a Blood Orc. My own design. It is not based on any known Orc. No identification with actual persons (living or deceased), is intended or should be inferred. ;) I built it with the bricks I just had around.

now my orcs army. Because we all love building an army from time to time ;)
I have individuals photos for each orc so if you (people) request I'll publish them.
"The Orc Whipmaster, a commander among many others, was active in Mordor during the time of the War of the Ring. When Frodo and Sam were disguised as orcs during their quest to destroy
The One Ring in Mordor, the Whipmaster found them and whipped them along with his company, calling them slugs and telling them to get going, moving towards the forthcoming inspection."

Alpha Yugrok and his mounted Orcs.
Orcs are typically around six feet tall and weigh about 40 stones (200lbs) on average. Mounted Orcs, however, are selected for their smaller size. The cursed wolves they ride roughly the size of a small horse and are not strong enough to carry an average Orc. A smaller and lightly armoured orc on the other hand, poses little problem. Yugrok's wolf Brog is an exception, as he is much stronger than the rest of his kind. The Orcs believe that this is due to the same mutation that gave him grey fur and white eyes.
Orcs, though they now occupy the Plains of Bones in the North East of Esterdame, did not always call the peninsula home. In the time of the Gazuman and Vieran empires, any attempt by the Orcs to colonize was thwarted by the great armies of it's current occupants. It was not until the Dwarves exiled themselves to the island of Ottogar and the Second Vieran Civil War left Vieran forces weak that the Orcs were able to emigrate from beyond the Sleeping Caverns. They originally carved out a large piece of land called the Plains of Brellabune, but after centuries of war with the Vieran, and then Thronfeld, it was renamed the Plains of Bones, which is far more suitable.
I built this last summer, finally posting. It's roughly inspired by the siege towers used in the battle of Pelenor fields, just a down-sized version. This came to be from the large amount of extra pieces from the POTC Mill set (loaded up when they were on sale :) The frame is made entirely 1 x 2 hinged bricks (www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30386)

"The orc inspector was one among many of the inspectors and taskmasters that kept their eyes on and held the armies of Mordor in check during the War of the Ring. This particular orc held an inspection soon after Frodo and Sam, in orc disguise, were found by a taskmaster and were whipped in between the company of orcs they were hoping to evade. The inspector managed to pick up something about them, and, alarmed, he made his way towards them. Frodo and Sam managed to get away after pretending to be fighting. The inspector decided to let it slip after losing sight of them, and the company of orcs moved along."
