Besides Sean D. Tucker's custom biplane, there was another Oracle-sponsored plane at the show, and I'm not sure who was flying it.
This came late in the day and by that time, I thought I had enough number of sharp images, so I decided to drop down the shutter speed again, and go for propeller motion look, even if it meant I lost some sharpness.
I actually got some sharp images nevertheless, with propeller blur. So 1/250s worked quite well.

This is like the 5th picture of Oracle that I have. What can I do? Its 5 minutes away from my house and it is a great place to try out a camera...
If you would like to compare, here is almost the same image with Olympus E-P1 and Panasonic 7-14mm

I found this original 1960's version Ouija (wee-gee or we-ja) Board that belonged to my grandmother as I was going through old boxes from her estate. I have fond, yet creepy, memories of playing with this as a youngster.
I still have the now crumbling original box that proclaims on the back:
"OUIJA talking board set gives you entertainment you have never experienced. It draws the two people using it into close companionship and weaves them a feeling of mysterious isoloation. Unquestionably the most fascinating entertainment for modern people and modern life."
That's right...modern 1960-something life.
Though there was much criticism of this year's America's Cup, most people agree on one thing: the boats are technological marvels. Moving at up to three times the speed of the wind, the 90-foot multihulls are some of the fastest boats under sail. Pictured here is the BMW Oracle boat, USA. Photos by BMW Oracle Racing. The concept for this shoot was a modern-day Oracle.
A mysterious young woman who lives in an abandoned building, receiving her guests and telling them their futures- for a price.
The gorgeous model, Rachel Lee, did a wonderful job at embodying the character through grace and fierceness. This was my most gratifying (and sweaty) shoot yet and I couldn't be more happy about the pictures.

The Oracle Challenger bi-plane flown by Sean Tucker put on quite the performance at the 2008 Joint Services Open House airshow at Andrews AFB. No other plane came close to the stunts and maneuvers that this plane performed. All throughout the show the pilot narrated his own maneuvers. Not sure how he did that given all the Gs that he must have been pulling.

The Oracle complex Broadbeach, Gold Coast. The complex is still under construction as can be seen by the lack of room lights & the crane on the sister building. This is basically a test photo snapped on the way back to my car after photographing the previous pic. I've wanted to evaluate the photographic potential of this building for ages. I think this could be my next favourite building ;-) Can't wait for it to open.

The Flower and Patio Show at the Indiana State Fairgrounds included this elaborate garden/patio design called "Oracle of Delphi". If you had a giant house, this stylized classical ruin would make for an interesting focal point in the backyard. In this case, I'm partial to the weird combination of the classical elements against the industrial/warehouse ceiling.
