Purple? Maybe?

It is annoying how it is utterly impossible to capture real colors of light on a photography. While the dark, deep blue with white blobs is very neat, perhaps even more than in reality, what one sees with their own eyes is a pale shade of violet with a weird, almost grey light inside.

Though there was much criticism of this year's America's Cup, most people agree on one thing: the boats are technological marvels. Moving at up to three times the speed of the wind, the 90-foot multihulls are some of the fastest boats under sail. Pictured here is the BMW Oracle boat, USA. Photos by BMW Oracle Racing. Breath taking air show performance. Flying close to ground and shredding off manned ribbon lines. Flying maybe about 15 feet above ground.

Let’s step inside the aural space

and open the channels between ourselves and others!

Reading's famous shopping and entertainment centre, the Oracle, with the (fully navigable) river Kennet running through the middle of it. Always looking festive :)

Just another day at the office.

25-ish images melded together in PhotoShop Elements to render a Hockney type of impression of Oracle. It was fun to put them all together like a jigsaw but my PC was groaning under the weight. I had to reduce the dimensions of the originals just to keep my PC from crashing. I left it sort of sloppy and haphazard for the effect not because I don't know how to blend.

Of course, if you want to cheat you can just use the Big-huge labs utility....

Jahrhundert v. Chr. bis zum 4. Jahrhundert n. Chr. an Bedeutung.

The two AC72's of Oracle Team USA and Artemis Racing beat windward on a breezy day of training on San Francisco Bay. This was the first day Artemis had its boat back in the water after modifying their rig to come up to par with Oracle.
