Sketchbook Project 2012: Opposite Day. Empty vs. Full. Blogged at anartistseasel.blogspot.com

This is my friend's daughter and she went with me and her mom to the Duck's game. She likes to do opposite day sometimes, so when I would say, "Go Ducks!" She would say, "Go Coyotes!" She has too much of a sense of humor.

Sketchbook Project 2012: Opposite Day. Orderly vs. Scattered. Pigma micron pen. Blogged at anartistseasel.blogspot.com

Before I took off on a trip early this week to talk to a nonprofit about some consultation work, Ellie handed me a scrolled-up piece of art she had created for my journey.

I set it up in my room to remind me every day that things are not always what they seem. Thanks for the reminder, Ellie!

new york, I still heart you even though I cheated on you. I was seduced by those wacky backwards-order ingredients.

For Bizarre January Holiday Swap

This picture is pretty much the complete opposite of the warm sunny day we have here at the lake, but I found it from April's folders and I thought I'd post it.

More usually, Tenzing sits in the window, and Edison strolls by. Crazy, man, crazy.

It's -6 here in TyLand 😨 so we've encouraged all the Boos, and Beanies, and Cuddlys, and Teenys to celebrate #OppositeDay and be somewhere warm!⠀

Ella and Pearl sent us an imaginary postcard from their opposite day vacation. (I hope they both have enough sunscreen for those ears.)⠀
