Sun Solaris Express Developer Edition DVD arrived. Using gnome and based on opensolaris, its a nice solution for the developer as it is shipped packed with nerbeans, sunstudio, java servers and other developer tools. Installtion is easy and works perfect on a dual-boot system (alongside with m$ windows).

When I first heard the name of the previous edition of Ubuntu (Gutsy Gibbon), I couldn't remember it... So I ended up calling it "Grumpy Ghost", "ghastly giraffe" , "gifted gopher" and whatever else I could come up with the letter 'G'. Now with all new editions of Ubuntu I try to come up with alternative possibilities based on their current letter.
Previous versions included "Dapper Drake", "Edgy Eft" and "Feisty Fawn".
