Im Vordergrund steht der Schriftzug "Qucosa", unser Hinweis auf die große Bedeutung von Open Science für die Verbreitung neuester Forschungsergebnisse; vgl. Visitors to the opening of the 'Biohacking: Do It Yourself!' lab installation at Medical Museion are treated to Rüdiger Trojok's hackerstyle DNA extraction - using salt, washing up liquid, ice, and alcohol. This protocol is widely used in schools, science centers, hackerspaces, and makerfaires, as a demonstration of how easy it can be for people to understand and take part in biotech research.
