Our Prophet, Mohammed (Peace be upon him) said, "The best among you is the one who learns the Quran and teaches it."
Teaching children the Quran is not bounded to teaching them the provisions of the book and its teachings, but is a revival of their souls, illumination of their minds, and lighten their insight. Every Muslim parent has the responsibility to teach his children the Quran. He has to teach them the values of the Quran stories, help them to understand the wonders of the Quran, and realize how much the Quran is valuable for our lives. Learning Quran for children is the best method for creating a conscious generation able to build an advanced society based on noble and lofty principles; However, and even with this immense responsibility, learning the Quran for your kids is not as difficult as you thought, it is a progressive process you can follow step by step accompanied by the stages of growing your children.
Wouldn't you be wondering what the most suitable age for starting this journey is? Ok, then, what if I told you that it starts from the day you know you will be a parent, from pregnancy try to make your child listen to the Quran; so, the baby will be familiar with these sounds he/ she hears_ which is scientifically proven. However, From the Islamic perspective, there is no specific age for a child to start learning the Quran, though the age of four seems appropriate for that. As known, a child may differ from another in his mental ability and intellectual aptitude. Some kids seem to mature before others mentally, thus sometimes, it is regarded that a child is similar to another in age, but the difference in their perceptions is immense.
Here are some useful steps for you as a parent to teach and guide your kids for learning the Quran:
1. First of all, the mother's diligence in hearing the Holy Quran and reciting it during pregnancy. Many specialized scientists have stated that the fetus in the mother's abdomen is affected by her state of joy or anger, and also affected by what she listens to or read aloud. It is confirmed by some contemporary scholars that the mother who frequently hear the Quran while pregnant give birth to a child related to the Quran.
2. Make sure you talk with your children and tell them about Allah Subhanahu-wa-tala, the importance of the Quran, and why we should keep his teachings. You cannot start reading the instructions without the children understanding who the Almighty Allah is.
3. Show interest in the Holy Quran and recite the Ayaat of it aloud. Make sure that the children are around you and know what you are doing; that makes them emulate the actions of yours, and keen to follow you, which motivates them to be more appealing to learn and memorize it later. Don't forget that you are a role model in your child's life, and they will imitate everything you do.
4. Read the Ayaat of the Quran aloud will help the children memorize some of the words you are reading.
5. Give your child a Quran of his own; human nature loves gifts and ownership and keens on it. If the parents managed this instinct, it would have a fabulous influence on his enthusiasm for recitation and memorizing the Holy Quran.

The Why
Allah (s.w.a) only accepts that which is pure, so we as Muslims strive to achieve purity, both of body and soul. In His infinite mercy, Allah (s.w.a) has given us many ways to achieve this purity, one of which is wudu. The benefits of wudu are too numerous to be listed here in their entirety. One of the most prominent amongst them being that our wudu will act as our ID for belonging to the ummah of Rasoolallah (s.a.w) on the Day of Judgement. The importance of wudu, having knowledge regarding it and performing it correctly, is proven by the fact that it is a precondition of Salah, and without it our Salah is invalid. The act of performing wudu falls under the category of ibadaat (acts of worship) and not muamalaat (everything else besides acts of worship). The general ruling on ibadaat and muamalaat is this; all acts of worship are forbidden unless found in the Quran and/or Sunnah, whereas all other acts, not pertaining to worship, are allowed unless proven otherwise from the Quran and Sunnah.
The How
The proof of the various acts of wudu is found in the fifth chapter of the Quran, Surah al-Maaidah, ayah number six. Performing the obligatory acts of wudu derived from this ayah is the minimum requirement in order to have an acceptable wudu. When it is said that each part must be washed once, it is implied that that particular part of the body must be washed thoroughly at least once. As with many other things, we look to the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (s.a.w) for the details of the actions in wudu and its perfection. These are listed here:
1-Intending to purify oneself (the intention should not be said out loud for its place is in the heart)
2-Saying Bismillah
3-Washing the hands three times, starting with the right
4-Rinsing the mouth three times, swirling the water around inside your mouth, and rinsing the nose three times, blowing the water out and using the left hand to remove the water from your nose
5-Washing the face three times, covering everything from the tip of the hairline to chin and from ear to ear. The beard is considered part of the face and should be washed as well. The level of scrubbing required depends on the thickness of the beard
6-Washing both arms, starting with the right, from fingertips to just above the elbows.
7-Wipe your head and ears once with fresh water, not the water left over from the previous step. The head is wiped by putting your hands at the front of the hairline and bringing them to the back of your head, then bringing them back to where you started. Then put your index fingers in your ears and wipe the back of the ears with your thumbs. A woman should wipe her hair, whether it is loose or tied up, by wiping from the front of the head to the back of the head. It is not necessary to wipe the entire length of her hair.
8-Wash both feet, starting with the right, three times, up to and including the ankles, making sure the water gets in between the toes and no part of the heel is left dry

The Internet has done a tremendous amount for the human race. It would be impossible to list all the ways it has improved lives for so many people all over the world in some shape or form. However, it has also led to a lifestyle change that is really detrimental, and that is our reduction in physical activity. We're living in times that don't necessitate much movement for even basic day-to-day things. You can get groceries delivered to your home, pay bills online and even pursue an education without leaving your bedroom. As the world continues to become more and more technologically advanced (and dependant) we need to pay more attention to the habits we are forming.
Alhamdulillah, we have been blessed with Guidance on everything. There is plenty of timeless advice in the Quran and Sunnah, but I will focus on a few golden rules/ reminders that can aid us dealing with the shift.
Eat in Moderation
Like the 80/20 rule, a study published by the National Weight Control Registry showed that 97% of the people who reported successful weight loss had changed their eating habits. We are what we eat. 80% of the work is what you eat, 20 % is exercise.
"The son of Adam does not fill any vessel worse than his stomach. It is sufficient for the son of Adam to eat a few morsels to keep him alive. If he must fill it, then one-third for his food, one-third for his drink, and one-third for air." (al-Tirmidhi)
This is timeless advice right in our Sunnah, we don't need research to tell us this. The quality of & quantity of what we eat is such an important part of our faith if only we reflect on it as such.
Salah as a Pillar of Islam
Built into our day our five wonderful breaks. An opportunity for us to disconnect from whatever wordly matter occupies us to connect with the Creator. It is also a great way for us to improve our blood flow by getting some movement in our day. Often times we can be sat in front of a computer screen or TV and not realize how many hours have gone by. Salah as a pillar of Islam is a reminder that our physical and mental well-being is something that needs consistent effort on the daily. Disconnecting from the dunya to engage with Allah is a lesson in humility & focus. There are mental exercises are just as important as physical exercise.
Your Body Has a Right Over You
Observe the fast sometimes and also leave (it) at other times. Stand up for prayer at night and also sleep at night. Your body has a right over you, your eyes have a right over you, and your wife has a right over you." (Bukhari)
This hadeeth is a comprehensive reminder of the importance of taking care of your body. When something has a right over us, we give it time and attention, we care for it. If we are maintaining healthy eating habits that is one major component, the other being exercise in any shape or form. The most beautiful thing about the deen is that we can seek Allah's pleasure in all of these acts, even exercise if we do it with that intention.
Cleanse Yourselves
The Prophet (saw) said, "cleanliness is half of faith" Wudu as part of our daily routine definitely achieves that, but it is not just a means to attain spiritual but also physical cleanliness. Not doing so is surely going to have an impact on our health over time so once again, an act that we engage in so regularly is allowing us to maintain our health. Though this is a physical act, it is a spiritual one too if we engage in it more mindfully. A culture where people are transfixed to screens and limit movement is also one that often does not engage in such a cleanse. Alhamdulilah, we are blessed that this is built into our faith. We all know what a refreshing feeling wudu can be after being glued to a chair working on a screen, or perhaps having a busy day not getting the opportunity to focus. Though the correlation is not clear in theory, it is surely felt in practice.
These are just a few of the messenger of Allah's (saw) timeless life tips. Ones that aid us in maintaining a balance in our lives that keeps us focused towards success in all realms, physical, mental and spiritual.

Arabic calligraphy has become one of the most renowned forms of Islamic art over the past centuries. People love and admire this art but are unaware of the types of Arabic calligraphy. It is worth mentioning that the types of Arabic calligraphy took their known names from the names of people, cities or pens in which they were written.
Arabic calligraphy types overlap with each other and each type has multiple writing techniques. It became an art in which great calligraphers master as well as a way of writing in businesses and important documentations. The most important and most famous types of Arabic calligraphy are as follows:
Kufi Calligraphy:
Having been used to copy the Holy Qur'an for five centuries, it is one of the oldest types of Calligraphy. It is derived from the Nabataean Calligraphy attributed to the Nabateans and was widespread in the north of the Arabian Peninsula and the mountains of Horan. Its unique style is the angular geometric component, which made it popular in stone carvings and Islamic architecture.
Riq'a Calligraphy:
This type of Arabic calligraphy is used in daily writings, and it is one of the easiest types of Arabic calligraphy. It is characterized by its integrity and beauty, ease of writing and reading, and its distance from complexity. "Riqa'" is derived from the Arabic noun, Ruq'a, meaning "a piece of cloth or patch." The script was named Riq'a because it was often written on small pieces of paper.
Naskh Calligraphy:
This type of Arabic font is considered the closest to Thuluth calligraphy. It was originally used for copying the Holy Qur'an but later became a font for printing. It is a type of beautiful Arabic calligraphy, and many Arabic manuscripts have been copied in it. Naskhi script is very popular in the Arab business world because of it being legible and because of proportionality between its letters.
Thuluth Calligraphy:
Thuluth is one of the most beautiful types of Arabic calligraphy written in the form of cursive script. 'Thuluth' comes from the Arabic word meaning 'one-third' and derived its meaning from the one-third slope of the letters. It is most difficult to write, and it is one of the types of creative Arabic calligraphy that needs skill in writing. This type of calligraphy needs to be mastered according to the rules, and commitment while writing it because it needs a lot of control. You will find this script on the mosque and building decorations.
Persian Calligraphy:
This type of Arabic calligraphy appeared in Persia, in the seventh century of Hijra, and it is one of the beautiful calligraphies that is characterized by clarity, ease and, non-complexity.
Ijazah Calligraphy:
This type of Arabic calligraphy is called the Rihani Calligraphy, and it is called the Ijazah or signature font because it is used to sign school certificates and written licenses. It is simple and easy to read.
Diwani Calligraphy:
One of the types of Arabic fonts invented by the Ottomans and the first to define its scales and lay down its rules is the calligrapher Ibrahim Muneef. The Diwani Calligraphy was formally known after the conquest of Constantinople by the Ottoman Sultan Muhammad al-Fatih. Diwani calligraphy is a flexible and soft form of calligraphy and is also characterized by being decorative and having extreme stylization.
Tughra Calligraphy:
It is a type of Arabic calligraphy that is written in the thuluth script in particular, and it was written on Islamic money and royal orders. The word tughra means: The wing of that bird remained.
Moroccan Calligraphy:
This type of Arabic calligraphy appeared in the countries of Andalusia and Morocco. It is commonly used in writing the Qur'an and Al-Ma'kateb. It is close to the Thuluth and the Naskh Calligraphy.

While reading the Quran, in daily prayers and even in simple everyday conversations with one another, Arabic tends to simply roll off the tongue of Muslims. The pronunciation of Arabic can be accented or broken, but still many people of the Muslim community make attempts to understand and speak the language. These days, online Arabic classesare also available to make it easy for beginners to master the language.
Significance of Arabic in Comprehending the Faith of Islam
Muslims are one big community of believers of Islam despite their racial, cultural and linguistic differences. Therefore, Arabic language works as the common link that joins the vast community of believers of Islam and it serves as a uniting element that makes sure that believers share common ideas.
From the time of the revelation of the Quran, its original Arabic text has been preserved. Even though translations of the holy text has been done in several languages but all are based on the original text in Arabic that has not altered in several centuries. If one has to completely understand the greatness of Allah through the beauty of the Quran, they need to make an attempt to understand and learn how to speak Arabic fluently.

Though the language may appear quite outlandish to those whose native language derives from the branch of Indo-European languages, a lot of Arabic words are part of the vocabulary of Western languages due to the influence of Arabic culture on Europe during the medieval period. And since, modern Arabic is closely based on the classic form of the language, the native speakers of modern Arabic or other closely associated languages do not face difficulties in learning classic Arabic. Almost all citizens of Northern Africa and the Middle East are well versed in modern Arabic and many other Asian and Central European languages have been highly influenced by it. This shows that a good population of the world is already well-equipped to learn classic Arabic. Also, these days, various online Arabic classesare available which makes it easy for people to master the language.
The Arabic language is written from right to left and utilizes its own distinctive script which may appear complicated to many. Nevertheless, Arabic comprises of a simple alphabet which when mastered is extremely precise in conveying the accurate pronunciation of all words. When one opts tolearn Arabic online, they get access to a range of books and audiotapes along with coursework which makes it easy for them to get fluent in the language. When you observe a parent and a newborn, it's tough to prove that any sort of learning is taking place. However, we know that babies are constantly learning and absorbing, even before their birth! So though we can't necessarily prove in a moment, we have to trust that all the little things are being fed into their little brain and will come together soon enough.
But how do you guide a child to love the Quran ? Like we do any other beneficial act. By our actions, and by our words and by making it fun!
START BEFORE BIRTH
A baby in the womb can hear the world around him/her as early as 18 weeks. Parents are often encouraged to make to talk to their child to establish that bond and connection through familiarity of voice. This is a great time to play recitations of the Quran. It not only familiarizes them but it is great for an expecting-mom!
USE QURAN TO CALM
There are going to be so many moments when your baby will need to be calmed. Make sure you continue to play or recite the Quran to sooth and calm him. It can be a sleep routine or simply when he/she is having a hard time adjusting to a car seat. When we make these associations of the Quran to relax them, we are planting the seeds to allow them to do the same in times of difficulty, as they get older.
READ TOGETHER
Have the child sit with you when you read the Quran. This familiarizes them with what it looks like, not just what it sounds like. It also encourages the habit and routine to recite, even if it a subtle way. As they get older you can use that time to teach them or if they are learning elsewhere then it's a great time to read together.
THROUGH SALAH
One way your child will pick up the Quran is simply being in your presence while you pray. Even for silent prayers, if you are in the comfort of your home, you can pray out loud to reinforce the familiarity with the Quran. This also allows for the child to see how the Quran isn't just meant to be recited from the mushaf, it can be read aloud, it can be read in the car, it can be read when you're going to sleep.
SHARE THE STORIES
Children love stories, so as they grow older making sure to share stories from the Quran is essential. There are plenty of books out there that do this well, but here are two recommendations to add to the children's library:
● My First Book about the Qur'an - by Sara Khan
● Goodnight Stories from the Quran - Saniyasnain Khan
MAKE IT FUN
There is nothing a child will not enjoy if you make it a game. Once your child is old enough, to sustain their interest and instill a love for learning, introduce Quran games that are informative yet entertaining. This way, not only does the child learn through a fun medium but he/she is more likely to want to continue to explore the Quran.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, make dua'a, constantly and consistently. Pray that Allah blesses them with a love for the Quran, a desire to learn it, recite it and practice it. Ultimately, we are merely doing certain acts with a certain goal in mind, it is Allah who controls the outcome.

It is often said that no religion has had a greater impact on our world and its culture than Christianity. It is certainly true that many of our greatest works of art and literature were inspired by the Bible and the ministry of Jesus. However, in the Western world, we have a tendency to become so caught up in Christian contributions that we overlook those which came from Islam. Believe it or not, Islam has contributed just as much to our society as Christianity. We're not just talking about Islamic strongholds - such as the Middle East - when we say that. Even in the West, we rely on inventions and ideas which have their roots in Islam on a daily basis. Don't believe us? Check out the inventions listed below. Here are 10 brilliant inventions you didn't know came from Muslims.
1- The Toothbrush
In anti-Islamic propaganda, we often see Muslims depicted as unhygienic. In reality, however, Muslims are mandated to keep themselves clean by their very doctrine. The most obvious example of this is the commandment of wudu, which requires Muslims to wash their hands, mouth, arms, head, feet, and even nostrils before praying. A lesser-known example is the invention of the toothbrush.
2. Flying Machines
Everybody knows that the airplane was invented by the Wright brothers. However, Wilbur and Orville, as clever as they were, were not the first people to dream up a flying machine. For centuries, inventors had been attempting to craft a machine by which humankind could soar with birds. Famed 15th-century polymath Leonardo da Vinci even went so far as to create blueprints for a flying machine all the way back in 1485. Yet even the great da Vinci could not claim to be the originator of the flying machine. That honor belongs to Abbas ibn Firnas, who beat his Italian counterpart to the punch by about 500 years.
3. The Guitar
In 1978, singer-songwriter Cat Stevens announced his shock conversion to Islam and stepped away from the limelight. Taking the name Yusuf Islam, he abandoned Western music, having been convinced it was against the laws of Allah by some strict Islamic scholars. 30 years later, Yusuf would return to popular music, explaining that his decision to leave in the first place had largely been the result of his own failure to conduct independent research into Islam's relationship with rock and roll. Had he done so when he first converted to the religion, Yusuf would have discovered that not only was popular music permitted within Islam, but it was virtually invented by Muslims.
4. Algebra
If you're trying to change the perception of a group of people for the better, it may initially seem counterproductive to credit that group of people with creating algebra. Yes, Muslims are, in a roundabout way, responsible for all those tests you failed in high school. But as boring as it was when we had to learn it in the classroom, there is no denying that the formulation for algebra was a magnificent feat. Without it, we could not have contemporary engineering, electronics, or architecture.

Reciting and memorizing the holy Quran with a purified soul and heart can be an excellent way to enter the world of religiosity. The divine Quran is recited by most of the prominent personalities in the field of entertainment, sports, and politics. Today, the holy Quran is not a sacred and sought-after book for Muslim communities only but folks of diverse religions have also started reciting and memorizing this ideal holy book. It is believed that whoever recites the divine Quran can lead a blissful and meaningful life filled with pure heart and thoughts. Among all religious books, plentiful people say that the holy Quran is easier to memorize.
How To Begin With
The reciters can begin with 5 to 7 surahs and 25 to 30 Juzu of the divine Quran in a single day. Group discussions, video chats, text messages, listening to the audios of well-known reciters augment learning ability, and the students can interact with each other, express their opinions, and share what they like about this holy book through online classes. Local madrasas are no longer considered perfect places as the learners have to leave their homes, travel, and spend money on commuting. However, participating in the classes, courses, workshops, and webinars conducted by online Quran tutors are highly cost-effective.
What Topics Online Quran Tutors Elaborate
When a student starts memorizing the Quran, the holy book captivates his attention with intriguing stories and facts related to the Prophet Muhammad, fundamentals of Islam, the popularity of the Arabic language, the messages of Allah, spiritual places, and acts of worship. Consequently, the reciter forgets to gain perfection in one surah before moving on to the next one. The tutors give students access to apps that make the recitation and memorization simpler.
Today’s folks leave no stone unturned in earning money and they aren’t aware of whether they are involved in malicious activities and wrongful deeds. When they recite the holy Quran, they get to know about all this and make their lives better. The veteran reciters believe that the one who recites the holy Quran on a regular basis gets rewards from Allah in the form of blessings. With the availability of online courses and Quran teachers, the learners needn’t go to Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Islamic countries as they get top-notch study materials wherever they are currently residing.
A Sneak-peak At The Tenure Of Prophet Muhammad

Through the methodologies of online Quran teachers, one can know about sources, resources, and things that are imperative in getting close to Allah and every learner desires to experience it.
What The Pivotal Steps To Fasten the Quran Memorization Are
Underlining different verses and marking the words that are intricate to spell can make the memorization much faster than you expect. Repeating the surahs and verses on a high volume, writing them down in a notebook, watching videos of world-prominent reciters, starting with the small portions of Surahs, and getting up early in the morning prior to Fajr time for a fresh mind are the crucial steps to follow.
Veteran reciters say that the recitation or memorization is imperfect and incomplete without the Tajweed rules. So, become conversant with what these rules are all about. For appropriate recitation, the correct pronunciation and intonation are essential. Incorporating the spiritual activities and prayers in your daily routine is necessary for keeping the momentum going. When learners opt for an online course offered by world-famous online Quran tutors, the time barrier is no longer an obstacle for them as they have the liberty to choose the time.
What is The Significance of Consistency And Regular Lessons
Consistently is the utmost thing in learning something and selecting lessons to be covered on a specific day is equally important. To bring and maintain consistency, you need to be geared up and steady for the regular lessons and the online Quran tutors can keep you devoted all the time with a positive mindset.
How Allocating the Time Is Pivotal
Allocate a fixed amount of time for each chapter, sentence, Surah, and verse. Set a time period that you will learn one chapter and stick to it. Allocate the time to everything that relates to the holy Quran and by doing it, you can obtain the proficiency and fluency in Arabic words within the shortest time possible.
Comprehend the Sound of Letters
The sacred Quran comprises a wide array of lengthy, simple, short, and complex letters in verses and Surahs. To pronounce these letters correctly, online Quran teachers suggest learners to comprehend the sound of these letters. They can become familiar with the sounds through online lectures, audio listening of reciters, and interacting with popular Arabic speakers.
Tips To Identify Words With Similar Meanings
There are numerous words in the holy Quran that are used many times but their meanings are different. So, the tutors teach students the smart tactics to identify which word in a context has a different meaning that they read previously. Which repetitive word has what meaning, the students quickly learn about this.
Diverse Teaching Methods for Different Students
There are aural students whose learning depends on their listening. So, for them, the tutors implement different methodologies such as listening to videos and audios during online lectures. Also, there are kinaesthetic learners too who learn in a unique way and the tutors provide them study material that suits their learning ability.
How Tafseer And Translators Can Help
Not every student is sharp at learning and to simplify the learning process, Tafseer and translators are the keys. The students can make the ideal use of translators and Tafseer. Furthermore, they can use words like Fatardaa which means satisfied through which they will realize that whatever they have learned today gives them a sense of satisfaction and they can start with something new the next day with a fresh mood.

'Tasbeeh' is to say 'Subhan Allah' or any other word that gives the same meaning. It is intended to free Allah from all defects and it confirms His qualities of perfection, greatness, and oneness.
In the Quran, numerous Surahs are opened by Tasbeeh. Allah, at the beginning of Surah Al-Hadid says: "Whatever is in the heavens and earth exalts Allah, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise." (Quran 57:1), also Surah Al-Jumu'ah begins with: "Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth is exalting Allah, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Exalted in Might, the Wise."(Quran, 62:1)
Why Do We Say 'Subhan Allah'?
Pairing Tasbeeh with thanking Allah has been recorded in the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (ﷺ) on several occasions.
There are many Ahadith recorded in the Sunnah about Tasbeeh and forgiveness, some of which are listed below:
1. Abu Hurairah narrated that, The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "There are two statements that are light on the tongue, heavy on the Scale, and beloved to Ar-Raḥmān: "Glory is to Allah and the praise; Glory is to Allah, the Magnificent. (Subḥān Allāhi wa biḥamdih, Subḥān Allāhil-Aẓīm)". [Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3467]
2. Narrated by Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever says, 'Subhan Allahi wa bihamdihi,'سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ one hundred times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the foam of the sea. [Sahih al-Bukhari 6405]
3. Although Tasbeeh can be done anytime, The Prophet (ﷺ) also specified times for azkaar that pairs Tasbeeh and Praise. Some of them we say after the prayers, and some before bedtime.
4. Samurah bin Jundub (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The words dearer to Allah are four:
سُبْحَانَ اَللَّهِ, وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ, وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اَللَّهُ, وَاَللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
'How perfect Allah is and all praise is for Allah. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone and Allah is great, it does not matter which you say first." [Related by Muslim].
5. Making Tasbeeh is expiation for sings when finishing the Assemblies:
Abu Barzah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Towards the end of his life, Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would supplicate before leaving an assembly:
"Subhanaka Allahumma wa bihamdika, ash-hadu an la ilaha illa Anta, astaghfiruka wa atubu ilaika (O Allah, You are free from every imperfection; all praise is for You. I testify that there is no true god except You, I ask Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance)." A man once said to him: "O Messenger of Allah! You have spoken such words as you have never uttered before."He said, "It is an expiation of that which goes on in the assembly."
[Abu Dawud]
Tasbeeh's Bounty:
The importance of Tasbeeh has been manifested in many positions mentioned in the Quran and in the hadiths of the Prophet (ﷺ). Some virtues of Tasbeeh are:
1. Tasbeeh can repel the weakness of the soul resulting from worries and grievances.
2. Tasbeeh is a reason for bringing victory and being deserving of Allah's help if it is accompanied by asking Allah's forgiveness.
3. Tasbeeh is associated with the attainment of Allah's will and pride.
May Allah make us from among those who glorify and praise Him day and night.

Depression and anxiety are serious conditions and may lead to severe health problems and even death from suicide. Every day we want to wake up to a happy and joyful day, but life can pose several challenges and can put us in some unbearable situations which can lead to depression, sadness, and anxiety. Islam makes the solution to this problem easy. As Muslims, we know that Dua is the key to everything. Allah always wants us to ask Him for what we want; He loves it when we call Him, beg Him, and ask Him; He is near to us and responds to our call.
Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "If anyone constantly seeks pardon (from Allah), Allah will appoint for him a way out of every distress and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide sustenance for him from where he expects not." [Abu Dawud].

In his great seminal work, Ihya Ulum al-Din (Revival of the Religious Sciences), the luminary scholar Imam al-Ghazali discusses some of the deeper and more spiritual dimensions of Salah (ritual prayer). In this discussion, he emphasizes the need for understanding and reflection on the words of the salah, for it to have an effect on one's heart and soul. This is where we can see our study of Arabic having a practical, every-day benefit to our religious practice: What better way to make our acts of worship more meaningful, than to learn and appreciate the meaning of the words we utter in them?
Below are some translated excerpts from his book.
On reflecting on the meaning of the words of the prayer:
Understanding the meaning of one’s words [in Salah] is something that goes beyond awareness, for one may be conscious of making an utterance, yet not be aware of the meaning of that utterance. What we mean by understanding, therefore, is an awareness that also includes comprehension of the meaning of one’s utterance. People differ in this respect, not sharing a common understanding of the Quran and the glorification.
On prayer as a remembrance (requiring understanding and reflection on what one is saying):
The purpose of Quranic recitation and expressions of remembrance (at various stages in the ritual prayer) is undoubtedly praise and glorification, supplication and entreaty, addressed to God, Great and Glorious. But the veil of heedlessness screens the heart from Him. Far from seeing or witnessing Him, the heedless worshipper is not even aware of Whom he is addressing, as his tongue moves purely from force of habit. How remote is this from the purpose of ritual prayer, which was prescribed for the refinement of the heart, the renewal of Divine remembrance, and to secure the knot of faith!

Have you not regarded that to #Allah prostrates whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the #earth, and the #sun, the #moon, and the #stars, the #mountains, the #trees, and the #animals and many of #mankind? And for many the punishment has become due. Whomever Allah humiliates will find no one who may bring him honour. Indeed Allah does whatever He wishes.

'Basmalah' or 'Bismillah' is a phrase to mention God (Allah) before beginning any action or speech. It is a powerful phrase that completes our actions and adds immense reward and Barakah to everything that follows it.
By saying, 'Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem' الرَّحِيْمِ الرَّحْمٰنِ اللهِ بِسْمِ (meaning, "In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful."), you are consciously asking Allah to be with you during the task, speech or action that you are about to perform.
Imagine having a difficult task or exam ahead of you and you are unprepared or simply nervous; who do you call or ask for help? None other than The Most Powerful, The Most High, Allah. Imagine, the task gets easy and you get an immense reward and extreme barakah.
There are numerous benefits of saying 'Bismillah.'
Wards Away Satan
Saying Bismillah wards away our worst enemy, Satan (Shaitan), who is constantly trying to distract us from doing good deeds.
Before Reading Quran
The first words revealed to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) were, "Read, in the Name of Your Lord…." (Quran 96:1). This shows the ultimate importance of beginning any major or minor task with Allah's name. All Quranic chapters, except one, begin with Bismillah.
Barakah
Starting things with Bismillah improves productivity, wards away laziness, provides blessings and is a source of Barakah in all acts.
Before Eating
Aishah [R] related that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When one of you eats food, then let him say: 'Bismillah.' If he forgets in the beginning, then let him say: 'Bismillah Fi Awwalihi Wa Akhirih (In the Name of Allah in its beginning and its end.)" [Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1858]
A simple act, such as eating becomes a source of blessing (by the permission of Allah) and an act of worship.
Following the Sunnah
Duas for entering and leaving the house, dua for calamities, dua for safety and protection and numerous others have been reported with having Bismillah at the beginning or having Bismillah in them. Saying Bismillah completes an important Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (ﷺ).

how to read quran correctly?
by knowing the rules of tajweed
alifarabic.com/courses/quran-tajweed-and-recitation-for-k...
1. Make the sincere intention to memorize the Quran
Allah's Messenger said: "Certainly, Allah does not look at your shapes (appearance) or wealth. But He only looks at your hearts and deeds."[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
2. Write down your goal that you want to achieve by the end of the year
You don't have to memorize the entire Quran this year - choose a reasonable goal that won't discourage you from trying to achieve this goal you have set for yourself.
Keep it somewhere that you will always be reminded - on the fridge, wall, as your wallpaper on your phone, etc.
3. Break down your goal into smaller sections
- How much do you need to memorize each month in order to consistently work towards your year-end goal?
- How much do you need to memorize each week?
After completing every section/clump, reward yourself with something nice or that you love!
4. Schedule your time with the Quran
Choose a time every day where you can commit to sitting down and working on your memorization - Fajr time is the best, but if that doesn't work for you, choose a time that will set yourself up for success.
5. Set up a nice, quiet, and convenient area in your home to go to everyday for your memorization
Having a place that is always set up and ready for you will make it easy for you every day - set your Quran on a small table next to a chair or cushion, so you can just sit down and start.
