I videotaped Hadley lecturing for the online classes he teaches. I then made the display name a two-digit number for the chapter, a two-digit number for the order, and a literal name. Some of the chapters have 20 video lectures and it's essential that the student know which one to do first and so on. Some IT tech at our campus stripped my numbers off the names and I am now having to go back and decipher which one goes where. (I started with the last chapter. Makes no sense, I know!) School starts one week from tomorrow. This is not good.

Oh well, I get to sit in my big chair and enjoy the rain.

The child requires tutoring from a young age. Parents usually go for private tutors in the classes- 5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th standards. These are the most developmental classes of a child’s school life. This is because they are preteens in these classes.

On January 7th 2011 I blogged my University progress. At the time I was 52% through my education and had a 4.0 GPA… now I am 72% through and still have my 4.0. THAT is worth celebrating on its own…

This last course was a difficult challenge- not the course work, but getting on the same page with the facilitator in only 5 weeks. It’s nice to have a break for the holidays, but in the middle of a class it throws everything off.

There is good news on the horizon: I am currently on a 5 week break because I brought so many course credits into the program. I am off until the middle of February. I only have 6 courses to take this year, and when I complete the last one I will then have the entire month of December and part of January 2013 off! That means a Christmas break will really feel like a Christmas break. Then in 2013 I have 5 courses and then I graduate… score.

Graduating will be a lifetime dream… number 31 on my list. But it does not end there, I will continue with my Master’s Degree which is actually dream number 32 on my list. This instructor had run-ins with everyone in the class. Literally, I think the entire class complained about her, but she parted with very kind words to me.

As frustrating as the class was, I respected the teacher because of her resume and abilities in her field. She told me she could see why the company was fast tracking my education, and she really wanted to see me go after my Masters. She knew I could more than handle it. What a great way to end a course and look ahead to the future!

KABUL, 11 May 2020 – Home school. The lockdown in Kabul and other cities aimed at curbing the spread of the corona virus has meant the closure of everything including learning institutions. Some school and universities are providing online classes, but most are not, leaving parents to double up as teachers.

Intelligent Learning System (Formative Assessment) by Meritnation is a scientifically designed algorithm that identifies the precise gap in a student's understanding of a topic/concept. The system basically employs an adaptive logic. The customizability in the advanced learning system not only identifies the exact spots where the student faces difficulty in a subject matter, but also generates a customized study plan for the student to learn the missing concepts. The plan is tailor-made for the needs of the student.

The objective of the Intelligent Learning System (Formative Assessment) is to make the learning process speedier, livelier and more fun filled. The system achieves the best results with judicious use of animations and voice-overs, throughout. The Intelligent learning system (Formative Assessment) is designed to make the assimilation of new study material faster and strengthen the understanding of older concepts. It truly eliminates any scope for ambiguity or confusion for you as a student.

Cindy - remodeled

- Digital Art by Mark C

Cindy was an archived PSD (Adobe Photoshop) drawing Mark drew a year or so ago. It was dragged out of the dusty graphic design folder, remodeled and a lip sync mouth set has been created for her. She is currently posing for the A, E, and I phonemic mouth positions.

Soon she will be featured in a new animated education product called 'Word of the Day'.

While on one hand, distance learning and the pandemic are massive challenges, we have enjoyed how it means that learning can happen anywhere. We visited the campground recently to illustrate the opportunities for taking learning on the road. With safe modifications, of course.
