Macro Monday
Theme: Onion family
Size: Less than 3x3 inches
I was cutting up onions for cooking when I had this idea.
I picked up a few different shaped cut onions and arranged them in a straight line on a wooden box.
I placed the box near the glass sliding door facing the setting sun and shine an LED torch light at 2 o'clock.
Many thanks for your visit, comments and faves... it is always appreciated..

Happy Macro Mondays!
I have been going through the archives this evening and found this photo of an onion flower which came up in an old pot in the garden back in 2014.
Red Onion Saloon on the corner of 2nd and Broadway in the municipality of Skagway Alaska U.S.A.
The Red Onion Saloon originally opened for business in 1898 at the height of the Klondike Gold Rush, and was considered Skagway's most exclusive bordello at the time. It was built by planks cut by Captain William Moore, the founder of Skagway, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Landmarks.

A staple in my house, especially for Thanksgiving dinner. I took this picture two years ago and have saved it for …??? Who knows why we save things. Anyway, onions were on my mind!
Thanks for stopping by. I do hope you are having a loving week. Be well, Joan
One more from our trip to Saint Petersburg - the magnificent onion domes on top of the "Church on Spilled Blood". It looks medieval, but actually just dates from the late 1800's...
