It wouldn't be a show at One World without a time-lapse of us hanging said show. Approximately 1,550 frames, one every three seconds. With Bill, and Miriam from One World.
I also like how I was putting the title cards to the left on the small wall until I got near the end and recognized the little switch plate that was in my way. So we moved everything to the right... We're clever like that.

On Friday night I got to photograph the season opener for OneWorld Roller Derby. It was my first time photographing in a gymnasium, and I must admit that I kind of like it. Bright overhead lights. Plenty of space to move around. Shiny floors for lots of bounce light and cool lighting effects. I didn't need any additional lighting, since it was so bright, but I set up a couple of flashes anyway to play around with some more creative images. I think this one turned out pretty well.

Oneworld alliance titles are okay on British Airways and Qantas where the fuselage is all-white anyhow, but on LAN it seems unnecessary to displace so much of the paint scheme. Not my call, though. Anyway, this is flight LA600, arriving from Lima, Peru (LIM/SPIM) and Santiago, Chile (SCL/SCEL.)

The 777-300ER prototype, arriving from Tokyo (NRT/ RJAA) with flight JL 62. But to be honest, I kind of miss the 747-400, and the red disc paint scheme. I don't mind the crane logo, but otherwise it's so austere - which may have been the objective, considering that Japan Airlines was exiting from bankruptcy when they adopted it.

I went to the dress rehersal of the "OneWorld" performance of International Music, Stories and Dance, by 180 students from 90 countries at the United World College, Pearson College, Victoria, BC
It was the most extraordinary performance by all!
These photos are not good quality, as I spontaneously took photos from my theatre seat, many rows back, I think they show the spirit and joy these students share with the world. May we all work and play together in such harmony!
