SX-70 Sonar Onestep, Poraloid 600 @ Bondai Beach, Sydney, Australia
Now, winter is just around the corner in Japan. Tokyo is getting very cold in the morning and at night, so I feel some signals of this coming winter. However, the other day, when I visited Sydney, Australia, the weather was totally the other way around. Now is just the beginning of Summer. When I visited Bondai Beach there, there were already so many people on the beach.

My first time attempting night photography with a Polaroid camera, tripod, Polaroid tripod mount #111, and the red button (long exposure cord); I'm pretty happy with the results!

My third and fourth packs of polaroids with the OneStep+ were colored instant films with holiday themed frames. Here are some of the shots I liked the most from the most recent Christmas celebrations.
Starting with these packs, I bought the special lens set for the OneStep+, so I could experiment a bit with playful exposures.

Taken in rapidly changing light of the evening sun. This is probably the most successful set of shots I have had from a pack of Impossible Film so far in terms of the quality of the colour.

Alaska's spring/summer fire season is off to a slow start this year, and that's a good thing. Still, state and federally employed firefighters are at the ready should a blaze erupt. In this "down time" firefighters work on making public forests that are near residential areas safer by thinning trees and removing natural fuels.

These tulips and next photo's tulips are the best. So beautiful and colorful. Whenever I see tulips, they cheer me up. I got very energetic after I took photos of them.

One of the close to modern Polaroid Cameras produced by the original company that has that classic Type-600 Clamshell design! Not to mention modern enough to be still running after a decade or two.

Masks indicate that summer festivals are just around corner.
I just bumped in these masks when I was walking at Ebisu Station and asked an elderly clerk whether or not I could take a photo of.
When I was a kid, I was very excited about wearing these character masks. I felt like I became a real character wearing it. That's why whenever I see these masks, I get back childhood feelings and remember summer festivals. If you come over to Japan, there are so many unique festivals in each area of Japan, so it's really worth coming over here in summer to come in touch with one of Japanese cultures. It's muggy, though.

Polaroid Onestep Closeup. And yes, it's a real butterfly. I was very proud of her for letting it go on her face :)

I wasn't up for going out specifically for a 'Roid Week shoot, so today's photos are all of my cats. =^_^=
SX-70 Sonar OneStep, PX100 Silver Shade First Flush film from The Impossible Project
Polaroid SX70 OneStep with Impossible PX100 Cool film.
Scanned today. Just over a week later and there is a noticeable sepia tint creeping in. I've kept these in the polaroid box in my home office but haven't taken any other measures to protect them. Be interested to know if others are finding the tones shifting as well. By comparison the colour shots I've taken have been stored in the same conditions with very little (if any) noticeable shift in colour.
