This is also my first solo + going away show - one night only - we'd love to see you there!
One of the pictures I took of Yorkshire indie band One Night Only recently. This is vocalist/guitarist George Craig, taken at The Canteen Media & Arts Centre in Barrow a few weeks ago.
During a warm up and with a little prompting i had 10 mins to take some portraits of the dancers from Siamsa Tire(The National Folk Theatre of Ireland) and Printz Dance Project San Francisco who are performing their collaborative show Rithim Rhythm at the Baby Grand Belfast as part of a whistle stop tour.

My Bloody Valentine (1981) Reunion screening
May 21, 2009
Rue Morgue magazine put on a one night only screening of the original Canadian slasher "My Bloody Valentine" (1981) as part of their monthly Cinemacbre screenings at the Bloor Cinema in downtown Toronto.
This was the very first time the film has been seen UNCUT on the big screen and a number of cast and crew were on hand for this very special one night only screening/reunion.

the day before courtenay's 40th birthday (cue dread-like music)
here we are, one night only, at the brooklyn bowl. eating, drinking, and oh yeah - bowling our hearts out. i got a few strikes and even got to be 'meh' with my right hand. the greek pizza is great, the mac and cheese was great, and there were various meaty-things on the table in which i did not partake. the place was super cool and dark for mysterious deeds. it was fantastic in there. thanks to AJ for giving me and new karen a little info about the place... LEED certified and everything.

up at 6am. took the 8:30am bus from DC to NYC. heard a couple talking about SF/napa valley on the DC metro, heard a group of friends on the NYC metro talking about SF. is this akin to when one buys a jetta all ones sees on the road is a jetta? why is it everywhere?
