This is the next aerial photography from the stubaital glacier in Austria. This view is so Awesome! The Ice looks so blue. Actually they cover the glacier ice with canvas to protect it from the sun to reduce the melting. I the summer this is a big problem since a lot of the snow is gone. I shot this one with my back up camera (a Sony).

Release 49 for the OneDayOneArtwork and OneDayOnePicture project. This picture was taken in Berlin Germany once again at Tempodrom with the moon right next to it. This HDR Pictures has been produced with some long exposure shots and turns out to be very nice at the end of the day. I captured the picture with my Canon EOS 40D on a late evening in june.

This is Rambo (the chameleon) playing hide and seek with me. I did like to shot animals and had a lot of fun chasing him around a little bit. The post processing was done with Photoshop CC and the picture was taken with my Canon EOS 40D on a full frame 70-200mm lens that created this super sweet bokehr. I do need to get one of these super fast f 2.8 lenses some day!

Release 81 for the OneDayOneArtwork and OneDayOnePicture project. After purchasing my first analog infra-red (IR) filter (the kind of filter you screw on your lens) and shouting a lot of strange looking pictures I found finally some stuff to work on my texture skills in Photoshop. So I decided to use a set of 5 different pictures that I took at the Potsdamer Platz and create a new series called burning sky / skyscraper. Creating textures with that kind of painted look gives you a new perspective :-). This is release 1 of 5 and shows the Piano skyscraper (Renzo-Piano-Hochhaus) that is 79 Meter (259 feet).
The post processing was done with Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC. The painted texture look of the burning sky was created with Autodesk Pixlr (I love this program). The picture was taken with my Canon EOS 40D in Berlin at the Potsdamer Platz.

Release 62 for the OneDayOneArtwork and OneDayOnePicture project. This is near the museum of technology (Deutsches Technikmuseum) here in Berlin on a early morning around 5 o’clock. The city was still in sleep so it was quite easy the get this picture without any distractions in it. I like the long exposure look of the water and twisting the picture upside down makes it more interesting :) .The post processing was done in Lightroom + some layer work and lens correction in Photoshop and the picture was shot it with my Canon EOS 40D.

This picture was taken a view days ago at the Modersohn bridge (Modersohnbrücke) in Berlin and shows the S-Bahn station Warschauer Straße in the background with a train arriving. The station is located on the northeastern bank of the river Spree in the Friedrichshain neighborhood of the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district. The sun was just about to disappear and create this nice sunset. The picture was taken on a my mobile (nexus 4) and has been post process as HDR and Panorama.

I’m just running out of time but thought I should let you know that the cherry blossom just started and it is sooo cool. This is the first release with my new vintage lens! I got a new manual lens with manual aperture, so no way to control the lens with the camera. It’s a lot of fun and since it is very fast (f1.8) I could get that nice shots with my Canon 40D at the technical university in Berlin (TU-Berlin). The post processing was done with Lightroom 5 only :-)

I love aerial photography but unfortunately I not have a drone (so fare)… But there are other ways to get around even without a Quadcopter :-) So this is at the Stubaital glacier in Austria. This view is so Awesome! The Ice looks so blue. Actually they cover the glacier ice with canvas to protect it from the sun to reduce the melting. I the summer this is a big problem since a lot of the snow is gone. I shot this one with my back up camera (a Sony) and notice that I start using my backup cam more and more….. Maybe it’s time for a change. Oh and BTW this (insider info) is finally Release 100 of my OneDayOnePicture series that I stared exactly 1 year ago with my first ever processed HDR picture - what a awesome year full of photography! Release 71 for the OneDayOneArtwork and OneDayOnePicture project. At the German Unity Day (3rd of October) I visited the local embassy and was able to get this shot of the USA and the German flag together with a few balloons that maybe some pure kid lost :(. The USA flag is at the embassy of the USA and the German flag is at the houses the German parliament (Reichstag). I assume the balloons has been lost around the Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor).
Since summer is gone and we kind of have a wonderful fall here in Berlin I thought you may enjoy this on at the Brandenburger Gate (Brandenburger Tor) in Berlin. The post processing was done with Photoshop CC and Lightroom. The pictures where taken with my Canon EOS 40D.

Here is one more shot from the cherry blossom. This is the third release with my new vintage lens! It’s a lot of fun and since it is very fast (f1.8) one. I could get that nice shots with my Canon 40D at the technical university in Berlin (TU-Berlin). The post processing was done with Lightroom 5 only :-)

Within my OneDayOneArtwork and OneDayOnePicture project (that is still running) I came up with a lot of night pictures and long exposure works so I decided today to kick off a new project to cover that material.
So this is the first release of my new NLE (night and long exposure) project. During the IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin = International radio exhibition Berlin, aka 'Berlin Radio Show') they light up the Radio Tower Berlin (Funkturm Berlin) in the middle of the exhibition in a wonderful red light and I had some time late at night to make some pictures. The post processing was done in Lightroom + some lens correction in Photoshop. The shot was taken with my Canon EOS 40D.

Even if I’m not a fan of taking and releasing any selfies (guess I’m to old for that) I do like that one since I tried to get a good shot of Rambo (the chameleon) and managed to get some parts of my self into the shot… Anyway I like the look of Rambo since he was highly interested in playing with my DSLR I think! Release 75 for the OneDayOneArtwork and OneDayOnePicture project. Meet Rambo the chameleon! I visited a friend this summer and needed to take some cool pictures of her 2 chameleons. This is Rambo the male! Super cool that little boy, I love the shot and the chameleon! The post processing was done with Photoshop CC and the picture was taken with my Canon EOS 40D on a full frame 70-200mm lens that created this super sweet bokehr.

Release 72 for the OneDayOneArtwork and OneDayOnePicture project. So fare I spend most of my time with landscape and architecture photography. The big benefit is that you can fight with your own incompetence as long as you want since your subject will not move anyway…..
However as soon as I moved to people photography all that changed for me and I needed to be ready at the right point since most of the time there is no second try at all. So this is one of my better work! I’m some kind of „into“ skating in the summer even If I’m not good at all. However I love doing it and shot some of the better skaters at the same time :-). This was shot at the skate park near the park at the Gleisdreieck in Berlin. The post processing was done with Photoshop CC and Lightroom. The picture was taken with my Canon EOS 40D.

While enjoying the cherry blossom and my new manual lens with manual aperture, I thought I should learn some new skills in post production so I decided to work with focus stacking in Photoshop. This picture is based on 10 shots that are layered on top of each other to get as much as possible focus out of my f1.8 lens. This shot was taken with my Canon 40D and post processing was done with Photoshop CC only :-)

Release 83 for the OneDayOneArtwork and OneDayOnePicture project. After purchasing my first analog infra-red (IR) filter (the kind of filter you screw on your lens) and shouting a lot of strange looking pictures I found finally some stuff to work on my texture skills in Photoshop. So I decided to use a set of 5 different pictures that I took at the Potsdamer Platz and create a new series called burning sky / skyscraper. Creating textures with that kind of painted look gives you a new perspective :-). This is release 3 of 5 and shows the Bahntower that is 103 Meter (337 feet).
The post processing was done with Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC. The painted texture look of the burning sky was created with Autodesk Pixlr (I love this program). The picture was taken with my Canon EOS 40D in Berlin at the Potsdamer Platz.

Release 60 for the OneDayOneArtwork and OneDayOnePicture project. At a late summer night I spend took some pictures at the walk of fame near the Potsdamer Platz in Berlin Germany. Since they now closed it for reconstruction or repair, I'm happy I took this long exposure shot. The post processing was done with Photomatix, Lightroom and Photoshop CC. The shot was taken on my Canon EOS 40D with 2.5 sec exposure only - turned out to be quite nice.
