The 2024 International Women's Day (IWD), rallied behind a Call to "Invest in Women: Accelerate progress.” As we marked IWD on March 8, African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD) co-convened a dialogue with the CGIAR GENDER Impact Platform and CIFOR-ICRAF to ignite conversations on investments in women that continue to foster equitable agri-food systems while calling for better targeting of such investments for maximum impact in transforming agri-food systems.
