A John Deere combine harvests wheat that was previously cut and laid into windrows on a farm near Big Sandy, Montana.
The wheat was cut into windrows because much of it had fallen over after having been infested with the sawtoothed grain beetle, which eats the stem and thus makes it too weak to support the weight of the wheat's head.
