At present MG02 is the only painted double decker in the fleet. have a further four Tridents in the fleet, all ALX400 bodied, but they will operate in their ex operators liveries, until we can fit them all into the shop to be painted.
Omega are to start full operation on Sunday 1st Feb 2014, having acquired two services, the 500 and the X84.

The Omega had been on sale in Europe as an Opel for a generation but the in UK it was known as the Carlton. The UK received the second generation car in 1994, when it took over duties from the Senator as the top of the range executive car, and sat above the Vectra in the Vauxhall range.
The UK police force used this second generation Omega extensively as a pursuit car for motorway work.

For my rebuilt old Constellation. Omega gave me a little baggie of the parts they replaced. This calibre is relatively simple and straightforward and it's still amazing the number of parts, and the size. Check the screws smaller than salt grains. This was filmed on engineering paper to give some scale._DSC1339-Edit. Handheld indoors under bad lighting.

Well, it was NOT comforting when I saw "the end/Omega" driving down the interstate back in April, 2021- that does not bode well, does it??
The Omega Nebula is between 5,000 and 6,000 light-years from Earth and it spans some 15 light-years in diameter. The cloud of interstellar matter of which this nebula is a part is roughly 40 light-years in diameter and has a mass of 30,000 solar masses.
I got the itch to buy a new watch. I've had my eye on a Speedmaster for a couple of years.
I considered a special edition version of this watch (Apollo 8 Dark Side of the Moon) while at the Omega store in Las Vegas. I decided to pass that day.
Over the Thanksgiving holiday, we went to a jewelry store and I couldn't keep saying no to owning a Speedmaster
