This is one of my favorite landscapes I've ever shot. It's even better to me, because it was taken in Oklahoma. This place is definitely not what comes to mind for most people when thinking of Oklahoma.

Folks, we've moved on to Oklahoma now.

This is why I chase storms. They are amazingly beautiful when they are out on the Plains. I chased with my friends this incredible supercell in Courtney, Oklahoma this evening at sunset. This was one beautiful, dramatic storms I have seen in a while. It was tornado warned when I captured this panoramic image. I loved the lightning striking though the inflow band. The structure on this storm took my breath away. Amazing!

I found the literacy message here entertaining. While I was taking this photo, a former owner of the place stopped by. I asked about the graffiti, he wasn't sure who had placed it there but suspected it was a marker for a drop off location.

A few more Oklahoma City Streetcar photos from my visit last week.

When I was a boy my Grand Dad Dillon taught me how to poke a straw in a mountain boomer's den and he would often charge out with his mouth open. You had to be fast to catch one, just grab where you can and likely get bitten. Our beautiful world, pass it on.
