Motivated by Erik to make some ww2 miscs.

I made the scissor binoculars first, but I wanted to add something so thats how I brought to life the typewriter. Anyrhing else I made in some seconds to add details.

I hope you like it ;).

I have alredy made never version of binoculars using no BA.

Stop right there, criminal scum! Nobody breaks the law on my watch! I'm confiscating your stolen goods. Now pay the fine, or it's off to jail.

>resist arrest

Then pay with your blood!

I photographed many of the hot-spots in Colorado on my travels, but my favorite were quiet unknown places. Like this little mountain reflecting pond on my drive to Vail.

Our adopted beauty is posing as an NYPD officer for a pic

While my mother has been visiting us here in Texas, we've visited several historic places. This is Fort Richardson in Jacksboro, Texas! My husband gave me a Lensbaby this past Christmas and I'm finding it a challenge to use. So, lately, wherever we go I take my camera and one lens...the Lensbaby. This is one of the first attempted images I'm willing to share. I have several more I hope to do something with...who knows...they may end up here!

The face of a New York City police officer during the Women's March on January 21st, 2017. I call this Respect because of how these men and women in blue treated the marchers with respect and how the marchers, in turn, treated New York City's finest in a similar fashion. There was no show of force with batons waving in the air or any sense of a military-style occupation. The police were there to help route the march and the flow of traffic, as your friends. The march of 400,000 was peaceful in the tradition of those I marched in back in the 60s for civil rights and against the war in Vietnam. The NYPD has a tough job ahead of them with Trump Tower, the new President's home away from DC, being located in the heart of midtown Manhattan. I salute them for their courage and respect.

When the train stopped at a small train station at sunrise in the early hours of the morning when I was traveling by train, I saw that the dispatcher of the train was a woman and I liked it very much, I took this photo from the window of the train. It's nice to see women in all kinds of positions.

I was privileged to attend a re-enactment of the battle, Basing House. The knowledge by the participants of the tactics and way of life was excellent. A great day out.

William Alfred Cocks of Ryton [1892-1971]

Here are some boys in uniform, with their officers at the back, from the Boys Club that Cocks' ran from his own home. nd [1910]

William A Cocks of 18, St Mary's Terrace, Ryton, was a well known local watch and clock maker and a keen amateur archaeologist and photographer. His father, John Cocks was a Newcastle Bank official who wrote for the Hexham Courant as "Old Cross" for many years, and was closely involved with Ryton Congregational Church. William Cocks was also probably a member of the Church and recorded its activities.

Toronto Police Mounted Unit officer Kris McCarthy and police mount Bobby with the Peter Witt streetcar. Last week.

The back story to this image is sort of amusing I guess. After weeks of preparation, finding a vintage uniform to fit the officer (Men were tinier back then) working with the TTC to get a permit and then them having to bring a retired operator out for the afternoon to drive it out of the shed, I'm presuming hours of polishing the streetcar, and me mucking about to get insurance certificates etc, we arrived a little early for the shoot, pulling up in the trailer with threatening clouds looming overhead, jumped out and just started shooting as fast as we could. Sure enough, after only ten minutes the skies opened and a torrential downpour just soaked us all to the skin. Kept shooting for about another minute but started to worry about water damage to the equipment, not to mention the vintage woolen uniform, and we hightailed it out of there.

On Saturday we celebrated Myles 3rd birthday and he was very excited to find out he is now part of the police force. Here he is very excited and showing off a new look for police....hat on backwards and wearing his vest without a shirt. There is a speaker/handset that he was using to tell people to "pull over"

Fun day for sure!!

Officer Baconworthy: "Put down the megaphone."

James: "It's not illegal to use a megaphone."

Officer Baconworthy: "Yes it is; you need a permit to use it."

James: "We tried applying for a permit but West Des Moines city hall told us it was not required." (True story, as the megaphone is a 10 watt device, and devices that require a permit are 50+ watt amplifiers.)

Officer Baconworthy: "You can either put down the megaphone, or you can go to jail."

We, of course, did not go to jail, but continued using the megaphone. This prompted two more cops to show up, who again failed to take us to jail.

The majority of personnel are serving in the Royal Fusiliers. What particular role the 7th Royal Fusiliers played in the siege I'm not able to say. It was the final act of the 2nd Anglo-Afghan War. For a brief description, here is the Wikipedia link

This charming seaside cottage became the unofficial Officers Club when Camp Hulen was opened during World War Two in the sleepy coastal town of Palacios, Texas. The home overlooks the Gulf of Mexico and its charm can easily transport one's imagination back to a different era....

Eh, crappy photo is crappy.

Essentially a field officer with trench coat because why not.

Night shot with a gritty texture. The street photography shows the silhouette of a police officer, a tree and the almost full moon.

My newest creation, a Kriegsmarine high ranking officer. I plan on getting a few Brickforge officer hats sometime and painting one to match. Until then, the black lego one will have to do.

one of the sadder parts of dallas. this is a memorial to police officers that have died in the line of duty. their badge numbers are cut into the upper level and during the day the sunlight shines through to illuminate the shadows cast by the panel with their numbers. one more badge number will be added soon. thank you all for your service.

Since the trailer for Season 6 of The Walking Dead was released today, I decided I should post the other Rick figure I made for myself. The figure on the left is being given away, and the right is for my personal collection. I think I duplicated the left one quite well.

And that Season 6 trailer, No Way Out, eh??? Here's the trailer for anyone who hasn't seen it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Va1UPrFXHKA

Anyway, let me know what you all think of these figures and the season 6 trailer!
