Extend-a-Stay valve enables the hook up of an external propane tank and BBQ grill. The external tank keeps from using up the propane in the RV's 24 gallon propane tank. The guage on the RV tank show about 18 gallons of propane in the tank. A BBQ grill or lantern or mosquito killer can be hooked to the removable appliance hose coming out of the Extend-a-Stay
