This Four Spotted Pennant was perched in a clearing at the edge of the lake, and actually presented his profile - like he wanted to show off his lovely golden tipped wings to the camera.
His perch was in such a great place I couldn't help but wonder if someone had placed it there previously in order to photograph dragonflies?

A number of great egrets, snowy egrets and great blue herons were fishing along a channel as the tide came in, so there were continuous squabbling over fishing territories. This egret had just been evicted by another egret and was flying further down the channel looking for a fishing spot.

Sea Rover is a couta boat. The photo was taken off the deck of the Oosterschelde while sailing on Sydney Harbour.

The start of the Open Event, 2017 "Wharf to Waves", Tathra, Far South Coast, NSW. Start time was 11.30 AM. Swimmers jump from a wharf platform and swim to the starting line. They do not swim directly to shore but swim north before then turning back to the beach.
