Turkish coffee. Freshly ground and right into the cezve. Heat the cezve, and poured slowly into the cup. Drink slowly so as not to get the grounds, called telve. Coffee reading is a form of tasseography, so, that telve can be used in divination. "Tasse" or "tass" is an Arab root, meaning small cup or goblet.

Demitasse - half cup.

Where Trane Road, Baseline Road, and Ramar Road come together, a strange 3-way intersection. It was 101-degrees at sunset when I took this shot. Summer's a comin'!

A few weeks ago, I was photographing on outdoors. I don’t remember the last time, as I’m not into sun, flowers and bugs not that much. But, sometimes I do with my camera and sometimes you find something that interest you, something like this you’ll see here. My pulse was ticking fast! The pilot in the dark is Yavin pilot looking for fuel for his TIE fighter. I didn't saw the TIE fighter, as it was hidden. Anywayahwanna, this moment was something I’ll cherish a long time!

And finally a new addition to my Action Figure Project. I really love to do these time to time, and especially when there’s a story to tell! Just for clarification, this scene is made of two separate photographs and put together as one on Ps. These are called composites and it’s quite popular art form to perform. You should try it out, if you’re into photography and Star Wars! But if you're more into see and discover new things, I have to suggest you to an art book by Cedric Delsaux (in my shelf, too!). It's titled as Dark Lens and it features high quality photos, with an introduction by George Lucas.

Our faithful old greyhound Rex passed away last month. H and I were devastated and balled our eyes out. We poured through old photos, hung pictures, and recalled all the silly ways he made our house a home.

After a few weeks we realized that the house was just too quiet. H and I love greyhounds too much to not keep our home open to one. When we saw Octane, I new I had to meet him.

Octane is a giant! Tall (even by greyhound standards) and big. His personality is so sweet, that he truly embodies the term "gentle giant". After he spent a few nights in our home to ensure he wouldn't try to break down the door to the chinchilla's room, we new he was the dog to start to fill the emptiness in our home.

Plus, every night I get home from work I get to say "High" Octane!!

The Port Of Grimsby & Immingham, also known as 60019, slides through Elford, with more than a few litres of vehicle food, bound for Kingsbury.

It's nice to see 60's, going back a few years ago it seemed that this unique and heavyweight of classes, had pulled their last train. As it happened I only saw this one by chance as I was killing time waiting for Derby - Carlisle 37's, which departed RTC over an hour late. In truest fashion, as I was positioning and clicking this train, the Tractors had left and were on their way to Alrewas. 97 Ron to the rescue! (which may have been delivered by this train on a different day).

Beautiful humming birds are everywhere! Very shy and feisty but incomparably gorgeous! It is spring time in San Diego! Loving every bit of it!

Shooting humming birds in the wild is anyways a bit of a challenge but an exciting and immensely rewarding one! You get to see what these little things do while acrobating in mid-air. Sometimes I just love watching them so much; I forget to click! Mostly, its hours of waiting time for a few seconds of high-octane thrill!

Gear: Nikkor 80-400mm AF-S on Nikon D810, I usually set the camera to shutter priority with 1/4000 to 5000 depending on the light.

Again thanks for you likes and comments, I highly appreciate it!

This is pretty much the maximum of weight that those balljoints can hold. The Octan stickers from the lego movie ice cream truck fitted just perfect.

Since many message me for details, here they are (and sorry, I processed them in Aperture and somehow it screwed up the metadata, I will be careful next time)

Gear: Nikkor 80-400mm AF-S on Nikon D810, I usually set the camera to shutter priority with 1/4000 to 5000 depending on the light. I wear a hooded greed/brown jacket and never wear any deo/perfume and find it helpful for getting close to the bees and birds (wife has to deal with a sweaty guy occasionally!). Hope you will find this helpful! Again thanks for you likes and comments, I highly appreciate it!

Lastly, many ask if the background is for real or not. There is NO PHOTOSHOPPING, just regular contrast, brightness, highlights, vibrance, saturation, noise and sharpness adjustments! Background is just the lawn grass bokehed out, as real as it can get!
