the waters around Qaqortoq, Greenland during a short cruise ship visit there in early October. We were very lucky with the fine weather....in 2005 the ship was unable to go there with the high seas on the appointed day, on this transAtlantic sailing.

Katherine has been our friend for many years. I met her when she was 90, twenty years ago.
Visiting Katherine 11 days before her birthday. She will be 110 years old, born October 13, 1906.
