The Occupy encampment at St Paul's has settled in and Banksy has contributed a Monopoly installation. Has the financial system changed much since then? Probably the Tory-government-supported greed has got worse. Remind me, who did vote for Liz Truss?

Rev. Jackson speaking to the London Occupiers on the two month anniversary of the camp. Years ago I saw this SPEECH of his and was tremendously moved. Watching it again, it still inspires over two decades later.

He is perhaps the greatest living orator in the English speaking world. George Galloway, love him or hate him, comes second. Would you agree?

On a technical note, how does one deal with digital noise? I just add more grain for a vintage effect. What are your thoughts? Press 'L' for a better impression.

The original destination for the Occupiers, Paternoster Square, is the home of the London Stock exchange and Goldman Sachs. The police has had it gated and protected since the 15th of October, the day the Occupy movement went global. The protesters took the second option, neighbouring St. Paul's Cathedral.

A lot of people have tried to discredit the Occupy movement with cheap soundbites of insignificant inconsistencies in their argument. But, here's the rebuttal of all rebuttals: essential viewing . But, watch it quickly before some eerie sounding security corporation removes it citing copyright infringement which is exactly what happened to the first posting of it...

I've been stopped and questioned for around 20 mins this morning (01/04/09) under Code D of the PACE act. I received a 5090X form for the Police to "investigate suspected crime/disorder/anti-social behaviour".

My "suspected crime"? Taking this picture of the Royal Bank of Scotland building and a news crew outside. No police visible in the shot. Where's the crime?

Her'es the form they handed me, see if it makes sense to you? www.flickr.com/photos/piersmason/3410180254/

The 6 pm deadline has passed tonight. Eviction papers were posted around the camp informing the Occupiers to move on by then. We wait and see...
