Officers from the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan train on the capabilities of the Light Medium Tactical Vehicle with instructors from the Fort-Pickett-based 183rd Regiment, Regional Training Institute, during a military exchange Feb. 7-9, 2022, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. During the training, the Tajiks conducted familiarization and tactical movement training before tackling the Staff Sgt. Jesse Ault Wheeled Vehicle Obstacle Course. The exchange is part of the National Guard's State Partnership Program that links states and partner nations in support of mutual interests. The goal of the program is to establish broad-reaching, friendly ties between partner states and partner countries at all levels of society utilizing the National Guard as the catalyzing force and means of support. The alpaca (whose owner had the same name as my son) and we wanted this one to win. He/she was still a beginner and learning what to do on the course.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Aug. 12, 2020) Midshipmen 4th Class, or plebes, from the United States Naval Academy Class of 2024 complete the obstacle course during Plebe Summer, a demanding indoctrination period intended to transition the candidates from civilian to military life.
