MiaSnow is planning a HUGE show of all my work at the skate park in Hwang... I am so excited. But no peeking until the opening!!!
Obsessive-compulsive much? Found these lined up on my desk after cleaning my office yesterday. I don't even remember lining them up.

Makeup just so happens to be something I obsessively collect. I look at my stash like mother looks at her children. My babies.
I honestly know this is a terrible picture. I was so rushed to put up one for today and I threw makeup in the mix. Unfortunately I didn't notice the immense amounts of dust or the blurry tray. It's just.. okay.

Obsessive-compulsive?
While I love the spontaneity of shooting film with the Vivitar Ultra Wide & Slim... I just can't let go of my need for metadata. Thankfully the iPod Touch fills another gadget void, using Apple's Notes application. This lets me jot down some details on the shot and also logs the date and time for later updating the EXIF with 'iTag'.
Square - Potala Palace
As most of you have realised by now, I am passionate – no, make that obsessive – about travel. I keep a long wish list, which is forever growing rather than shrinking, but that's another story.
For years the Potala Palace – once the home of the now-exiled Dalai Lama in Tibet – was at the top of my list. As we drove in from the airport, we passed through the square in front of the palace, and I was very surprised – and somewhat disappointed - that I felt nothing. No excitement, no buzz, no real emotion at all. Just a recognition: “Oh, there's the Potala Palace”.
We settled into our hotel and as we were getting ready to go out, David called me over to the window. “Look at this view Grete!”
I looked. No longer unaffected by the realisation of a dream, tears started welling up in my eyes and soon I was blubbering. “Oh my gawd” I whimpered between sobs, “it's the Potala Palace!”
Totally overcome with emotion (I am not ashamed to admit that I have tears running down my face now, as I write this, remembering the feeling as it was yesterday), I was a snivelling wreck for a good while before finally managing to pull myself together enough to take some photos.

I may brighten this up a bit and crop off some of the top dark area, but until I do this is SOOC.
SOOC means straight out of camera
If you are tempted to criticize the size, resolution or general quality of this image, please don't. I took it with a Sony Mavica Digital (sub-megapixel) camera, which was State of the Art in 1999 when I got the camera. Digital Cameras have come a long way since then, but I still had a great deal of enjoyment with mine
