Pencil and ink drawings

Observation of a walker - Groningen november/december 2010

In these images I tried to portray the idea of observing myself i.e I was both the camera and the subject. These ideas followed on from my research of Cindy Sherman and also the work of Dryden Godwin whose work revolved around the fact that we are constantly observed. Naomi Schillinger's work also observing everyday family scenes from the street also influenced these observations.
