My all time favourite photo because of what it does to the eye. It was taken on the beach at Tannum Sands. I adore it.
River object: Middletown. When searching riverbanks for fossils I sometimes find interesting looking objects. The shape of this object implies that it is what remains of a knob or handle but it is possible that it is an odd but naturally occurring rock formation. In the same area I have found two other rocks, one looks similar to the knob portion of this specimen and the other looks similar to the rusted shaft portion of this specimen.
not moving the light from the object (as in Pic 001) we used a piece of white card to reflect the light to lighten up the objects right hand side. we could only of achieved this effect with a reflector as it produced a soft light stopping a double shadow from forming. If we had used a second lamp, it would of used a hard light to illuminate the right hand side producing a second shadow along the left side as well as the 1st light casting a shadow along the right.
Those are yogurt chips - first time I've tried them - not bad, but not exceptionally great either. Perfect place for my pearls to try to disappear in.
my obsession of the moment (other than seeking out my Third Blythe): seeking out those albums!
It began when a friend of mine "showed" me this compilation. It was like suddenly meeting with childhood friends only you couldn't recognise them. So I decided to get original tracks. it is not too difficult, I've got "A Forest," "Teenage Kicks," "LWTUA" in my powerbook or iPod mini, "I melt with you" is on the way, and I believe I have that Tuxedomoon at my parents, etc.etc.etc. long story, period here.
