February 23, 2016– Ceramics Program Visiting Artist and Instructor Salvador Jiménez-Flores led students from his interdisciplinary sculpture course "Time Travel with the Vessel Form" to the Peabody Museum of Archaeology & Ethnology storage to view objects from the museum's collection. Prior to their visit, students browsed the museum's collection online (pmem.unix.fas.harvard.edu:8080/peabody/) and selected objects for further study.
Peabody Museum Academic Partnerships Coordinator Lanie Schultz and museum staff brought these objects out of storage so students could spend time examining their object up close. Students will create their own renditions of the objects based on their observations.
