Today saw a new operator on the 'round the houses' route 367 from Bromley to Croydon, as Go-Ahead Metrobus lost out to Abellio. Brand new Enviro200 MMCs are the new order as seen here by 8214 YX16 OBC, Bromley bound in Shirley Oaks Road, Shirley. In the far distance is the Crystal Palace transmitter aerial - the fifth tallest structure in London. Saturday 19th March 2016. DSCN36049.
This is Abellio's first daytime route to penetrate into Bromley, although they already have their hand in working night bus route N3.

The source of the quote was Chief Robert Joseph, OC (Order of Canada), OBC (Order of British Columbia). He is a residential school survivor who became a passionate champion for healing and reconciliation. A hereditary chief of the Gwawaenuk First Nation, he is the founder and ambassador of Reconciliation Canada, an organization that fosters strengthened relations between Indigenous and non-indigenous people in communities across Canada. He played an active role in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission as an honorary witness.

You know is was a hot ride when the freezies come out at the break near the end of the ride. We only had 17km left on our 120km ride, but we needed to cool down as it was 31ºc 35º with the feel like index. As hot as it was it turned out to be a great ride.
