Borders Buses - Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 - SN16 OXT seen in Galashiels operating service 73 on May 17th 2018
This ADL Enviro 400 MMC is seen sat opposite Moor Street Station on the 900 Platinum Service towards Coventry.
One of the best reasons for going to Princes Street to take photographs is to catch a pair like this close-up. I love getting shots like this and just look at the shine on the paintwork on both of these.
There are two batches of these new 13.4 metre buses, the first group (introduced in March 2019) numbers 1063 to 1104* with the second group starting in July and August, numbers 1105 to 1140.
*1093 introduced with the second batch in August.
Here we have one from each batch, Volvo B8L / Enviro 400 XLB number 1100 (SJ19 OXT) and number 1123 (SJ19 0ZB) and rather splendid too!

On Inverleith Row, alongside Heriot's playing fields waits Volvo B8L / Enviro 400XLB number 1100 (SJ19 OXT) on Service 27.
Heriot’s Rugby Club was founded in 1890, and by the 1920's the first teams started entering competitions which eventually would make them challengers with all the major teams in the Scottish game.
Even long before the Scottish Rugby Union championship was launched in 1973/74, the club was so successful it would not be unusual to see up to 10,000 spectators here each Saturday.
National Express West Midlands 6701 (YX15 OXT) is the first of many Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 MMC's to hit the roads this year in the Midlands, with the 900 being the first route converted to 'Platinum' service, with the 957 to follow shortly.
The bus is photographed passing Devonshire House, part of the Custard Factory development in Digbeth, formerly as the name states part of the Dessert revolution, and is now home to a number of retail outlets and design studios.

The first numerical Platinum Enviro 400 MMC is seen on it's first day of service at Parkhill Estate on it's way to Birmingham.
The Platinum vehicles are almost reminiscent of the Timesaver Metrobuses which operated on the same service over two decades ago.
This ADL Enviro 400MMC is seen at Woburn Abbey for Showbus 2015. YX15OXT wears Platinum branding and the name Deana Ann.
First Manchester: 39247 (BL65 OXT) a Wright Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B5LH, painted in purple Vantage livery and allocated to Bolton Garage. This vehicle is captured turning off Oldham Street on to Piccadilly in Manchester City Centre at the start of a journey on Service V1 to Leigh.

News has now broken that West Coast Motors are to take the remaining First Group operations in the Borders and Perryman's will be renamed Borders Buses Ltd.
