A view over the rooftops of Earl Sterndale to the limestone peaks of Parkhouse Hill and Chrome Hill.
Most days Bodie is closed at 4 PM although there are few days in the year in which the park is open for photographers until 10. Unfortunately we were not able to visit on one of those days. So I found a moon shot I added to one of my photos of the church. I do wish I could take a real one like this some day!

Lichens take over a fallen tree in the forest at White Pines State Park in Northern Illinois. Lichens are a type of algae that form in shady,damp environments.
