When a door opens, it connects us to the outer world, shows us the way of others’ life. Like this, in the Kabuliwala by Rabindranath Tagore, Mini meets the ever-cherishing character Kabuliwala through her window – the frame for open breathes. I also looked through a door and saw a Dudhwala (Milkman) – calling dudh achhey dudh (searching the interest of people for buying the milk), which reminded me Mini, I took my camera & clicked…
Thus, I explored a life unseen through the frame within…
The base was an old cosplay still photo edited with Adobe Photoshop and Luminar + an old sketch I had once made cleaned up with Fresco.. and then both were fed into Prome AI, Leonardo AI, Adobe Firefly and finalized in Adobe Photoshop 24.5 each adding extra dimensions until it became an outerworldly "Cathedral of Ghosts" ready for a game of Warhammer Quest
I had no idea what to call this image, but my model came up with this title when she posted it to her facebook and I kinda like it.
The world she watched through the glass seemed so magical and she all she wanted was to be apart of it. Upon getting her wish she finds that the strange outside world is not so different and magical at all.

This series was taken during a very heavy downpour. They are not HDR, and only slightly adjusted in Lightroom. The outerworldly effect is created by the intense contrast at 8,000ft. See EXIF for more details.

I thought I had conquered the gear devil once and for all, but no.... I'm really itching to get me a D300, weather sealing and all that, and I really, really, really want to start collecting some older manual lenses in M42 mount... I just love the feel and rendering of these lenses, they have that extra something. *sigh*. Oh well, I'll just have to fight back the urge to use my credit card, especially when it comes to the body. (but I have my eyes set on a Helios 44-2 58mm f/2 for the moment.... 35€, that's nothing! right...?)
Not that it has anything to do with the picture, but I found something by Enya I hadn't heard before, and quite liked it. It has that vibrant sound and an hmmm... somewhat outerworldly feel to it.
Contemplation.
Your outer world can be a reflection of your inner world. Sometimes we feel that the whole world is upside down and outside in. That's time to contemplate a change for the better.

Built for the preliminary round of Bio-Cup 2022
Theme: Nature
I won't deny that I was stuck, looking for a concept, for as long as a full week. I really wanted to avoid making a whole moc designed around plants, trees or flowers, and didn't want to make a simple animal either.
The concept behind this build is quite straight-forward: what if Mother Nature was some kind of lovecraftian, outer space entity, instead of her typical motherly/human-like depiction?
The first things I designed were the torso and belly. I really wanted to keep the key mother nature symbolism (all the recalls to fertility and being a mother and whatnot) while adding an outerworldly feel to all of it. I also wanted her head to have a single eye that resembled a bright star.
The addition of tentacles at the vertical edges of the moc was a simple way to strengthen the cosmic horror feel of the build. The blue zamor represents, of course, a planet fit to inhabit life.
Huge thanks to @Dv_mocs and @Carecreations_ for helping me out both in defining the early concept and in the final edits!
Havent posted in a while! been trying to get as much editing as I can done before I start my temp job next week. Plus I've been busy with Holiday stuff. I try to only post my favorite / best photos to flickr, so I post more stuff on fb.
The concept for this series was Autumn personified, dying as winter came. Hannah went out in the rain with me to take these pictures. She's such a trooper! im glad we didnt let the rain stop us because these are some of my favorite pics.
The whole series is on fb, and we be uploaded here one by one some point. There will also be extras from the shoot on my blog once I edit more!.
