It has come to my personal attention that my own contribution may not be up to my standards in building, so I would like all of you to make a simple choice for me. Should I keep it how it is, or build something a bit more Apoc?
Please give your opinion.
I was messing around with some Opm fig parts and thought I might make a neat fig, therefore the end result is this. Enjoy!
This is how the roads will be made. Side walks are optional but either wat they must be 1 stud higher than the road. much like how a reall side walk is a bit hight off the ground than the road.

Soon after the Resistance soldiers went out into battle one team found that their Willy's jeep just wansn't doing the job. So while they all go look for a new ride, one of soldiers puts builds a "Doom" buggy to to speed things up.
Midland Classic's very recent addition BV21 OPM, an MCV bodied Volvo B8RLE, is seen attending the Stroud Bus Rally.

The main attraction on this week's rail replacements, for me at least, was Midland Classic's MCV Evora bodied Volvo B8RLE which was running between Nottingham and East Midlands Parkway, calling at Beeston along the way. A week previous I'd come desperately close to spotting one of their Irizar i3s on the same service, so I was really hoping to get this week's vehicle in the bag.
Unfortunately, it seems I'll have to wait a bit longer to see an i3, since on the two Sundays of rail reps since I took these photos, Midland Classic have only been running replacements to Derby (and with two buses out each time, not just the one that Nottingham got). The engineering works covering the Nottingham to Trent Junction section are complete, so for the past two weeks it's only been Nottingham to Derby trains running with replacement buses. Photos of my adventures with those will follow at some point.
Right here though, the bright red and yellow Midland Classic bus adds a touch of colour to the late October greyness on University Boulevard - the trees had only just started to turn lighter shades of green and it was most certainly damp, even if not actually raining. It's a bit of an unusual place to see a non-native bus and operator, since most visitors to the area come and go via Derby Road and pretty much bypass Beeston, as opposed to going directly into it like this is.

To make up for the previous week, where I narrowly missed a Midland Classic (to the point I saw it leave as I arrived), I went and got this week's Midland Classic rail replacement bus twice. While it went and did its thing at Beeston Station, I dashed over to the Thane Rd/Humber Rd roundabout outside the Boots entrance to see it for a second time. I didn't have a long wait, and so here is Midland Classic MCV Evora 10 passing the entrance to the Boots site in Beeston and about to turn up Thane Road for its run to East Midlands Parkway.
I like what they've done with the livery on this, as some clever shaping of the red and black around the front almost mimics a Wright Eclipse, but hides the awkwardly styled front end of the Evora that really needs a few things going on livery-wise to look decent. If done right it looks really good, but there's a lot of potential to get it looking awful too... Midland Classic, however, have got it right.
