this maple leaf decided to hang out on the butterfly bush in my garden...

Weekly challenge in MacroMondays!

We had sunlight today for a brief while, and that created the intriguing loops of patterns from the spirals.

But in the midst of the spirals is a tiny interloper. Different somehow. The Odd One. For #MacroMondays.

The metal clip measures about 1.25 cm/about .5 in. Spirals measure less than that.

Thanks for looking!

Street shooting in Wellington - confirming that it is the most difficult of genres. I will never feel at ease with it (but this one appealed to my odd mind)

Smile on Saturday Weekly Challenge

Theme: “Frutaria”

The fruits of the horse-chestnut tree are greenish, leathery, spiny capsules containing one or two large, attractive, chestnut-brown seeds. These seeds are not edible by humans … but the squirrels loves them!

Thank you for your much appreciated visit and nice comment!

Happy 😊 on Saturday!

#CN327 with a pair of CSX’s finest GE’s crosses the Larocque Lift Bridge in Valleyfield PQ, hauling freight that’s destined for Syracuse’s Dewitt Yard. When the train gets to the crew change point at location point ‘Whites’, they get told a 326 is not coming due to no crew being available. So they’ll drop off all their freight at the Whites Siding, till the next day when new engines can take it state side, and these engines (as seen in the photo) will continue to Coteau and then head to Montreal’s Taschereau Yard as 326.

Imagine

To do just that

Jump aboard

Let it take you to new destinations

It's just a ferry

How cool isn't that

Que algú m'expliqui, això. En una raconada d'Oxford, dins els edificis de la universitat, hi ha aquesta porta amb escala, porta interior, i baraneta protectora tot davant d'ella. Una conjunció força enigmàtica.

=====================

Somebody could explain this to me? In a corner of Oxford, in the middle of what are univeristy buildings (next to the Sheldonian Theatre), stands this very odd "door configuration". That's a door in a wall, enclosed by it's own minuscule barrier, that leads upstairs to another, enclosed door. Me-dont-understand.
