There is a little park by the water on my way to work where I take my photos for my 52 Friday's Project and there is this one little tree that stands alone. This morning the sunrise was so pretty and a lovely arched limb from the tree was a perfect way to meet the challenge.

The roof of the Hoop House is an open air arch. Recently it was raised a foot, now we can grow more vines on it.
A person riding a powered para-glider at the shore today. The rider sits in a harness that is attached to a metal frame complete with motor and propeller. This is taken with a 50mm lens, camera held at a Dutch angle and is uncropped. I was standing at the top of a stairway that leads down to the beach and he was fairly close to me when I took this shot.

I had crossed this bridge near Wellston, Michigan on M-55 probably close to one hundred times without having any idea what it looked like from below. When I ventured down, I was pleasantly surprised. I went back to see if there was a name for the bridge, but couldn't find one. It crosses the Pine River on M-55.

So I've been thinking long and hard about seriously starting a 365 project, it would improve my photography so much and it would be amazing to look back on. I was just wondering if there was any past 365 survivors that would like to tell me how their 365 experience was!

In 1665 the plague arrived in Eyam, brought to the village in a bolt of cloth. The villagers, led by William Mompesson, their vicar, sealed off the village from the surrounding countryside thus avoiding the spread of plague to others outside the village. By the time the plague finally abated in 1666 there had been 267 deaths recorded. The window has been place in the church to remember the events surrounding this terrible time in the history of Eyam.

This is a macro shot of my black trivet in front of a black background. The light was directed primarily towards the background, but the trivet was at an angle so the arches of the swirl caught some side light.

I think the best angle to shoot these arches might be from the middle of the freeway off-ramp... but I will try again another day to do it safely.

I popped over the hill to Natural Bridges State Beach, in Santa Cruz, CA, to take some pictures this evening. I took too many pics to deal with them in a timely manner, so I just decided to pick this one for the Daily Challenge and my 365. Even though this was taken pretty near sunset, I like how it looks as a black and white.
Speaking of sunsets, the color tonight was a spectacular, fire red. If you're interested, keep an eye on my photostream as I intend to post a couple of sunset snaps I took.

I'm sure at the peak of summer, this garden draws many gazes and invites visitors with its lush greenery and beautiful blooms. On this November day, there were three lone workers and one garden loving tourist (me) strolling through its paths. I found it entirely beautiful and couldn't help documenting what I saw.
This archway stood at the entrance and attracted me like a magnet.
