Tessellation of the center of the star snowflake or tessellation of two stacked hexatriangle twists.
I found this kind of molecules on my own during my studies of polytriangle twists. But I'm not the first one who found this.
Meanwhile I found out that they are also in the book "Six Simple Twists" by Benjamin DiLeonardo-Parker.

Hi to all!!
We are finally back from paradise and oh-so-slowly recovering from the return trip jet lag.
This is truly not the image I would choose as emblematic of this gorgeous state - if it were possible to OD on beauty, this place would do it!! - but was so totally unexpected that it is one of my faves.
For those of you unfamiliar with the island of Maui, picture a soft rectangle tied gently in the middle. The squeezed area to your left is - ta da! - West Maui and consists mostly of the West Maui Mountains, while the area to the right, East Maui, is made up mainly of the great Haleakala volcano. Because the island is so mountainous, there are few roads and the ones they have follow the central valley or wind around the coastlines on either side.
Sorry for that geography lesson, but I thought this picture would only make sense if you understand these things. Perhaps one of the most famous coastline drives in the world is the Road to Hana, which hugs the eastern coastline from Kahului (the main city at the top of the central valley), heads east along the coast and then dives south thru some extremely rugged country. Jaw-droppingly beautiful, but waaaaay rugged. Anyway, there are a couple of side roads that travel down the mountain to small peninsulas. This was one of my three fave spots on Maui - the Keanae Peninsula. There is a wonderful old Hawaiian church set back away from the shore, which I went to investigate as old churches fascinate me. Around the back of the church, this is what I found. I can't stop smiling at the egret sitting on the cow's back! These cattle are known as free range, meaning, watch out while driving as they are likely to be standing in the middle of these windy and narrow roads!! The clouds over the hills are the ever present clouds that surround the tops of the volcanic mountains.
I took about 2500 images in the time we were there and am anxious to share the best of them with you. I also made my first real attempt at shooting for HDR as the light is so bright and contrasty, which accounts in part for the high number of images, so we shall see how those work out.
AEC Regent OD 7497 was a prime attraction at the Torbay Vintage Bus Running Day in September 2011. Here we see it in full Devon General open-topped glory posing at the main rally car park.
Juha od tikve je još jedna u nizu domaćih, finih kremastih juha koju svakako morate probati ako još niste. Sezona tikve je krenula, pa je pravo vrijeme za isprobavanje slasnih recepata koje možete pripremiti s ovom iznimno zdravom i ukusnom namirnicom. Kao što Talijani pripremaju tjesteninu za predjelo, tako su nekoć davno naše none i bake pripremale juhu svaki dan za predjelo, te je uistinu šteta da se taj zdrav i koristan običaj počeo gubiti u korak sa sve bržim i kaotičnim načinom života u kojem mnogi teško pronalaze vremena za pripremu obroka, pa pribjegavaju gotovim i rijetko zdravim obrocima.

OD 7487. DR210. Devon General 1934 AEC Regent/Short at Timberscombe and Minehead station during 2019 Minehead vintage bus day. The first diesel engine buses in the fleet and were bought for Torquay tram replacement. 6 were rebuilt as open-top in 1955 by Longwell Green, Bristol. Her age is belied by good performance. Ran until 1961 when replaced by 'Seadog' convertible Atlanteans.
