The Citaros to the left display the "only" displays for the A40 and 740 with no vias (which will see seldom public use); the MCV on the right has been updated to advertise that contactless payment is now accepted on Carousel.
This picture was taken before I realised 871 had its high beam on!

Today (24/08/2025) it was over to Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire to catch up with Lewis Nagle and his stunning preserved Mercedes-Benz Citaro O530 B42F MB51 CB51BUS. New to Carousel of High Wycombe in 11/2003 (along with CB52/53BUS), the bus was bought for the A40 Heathrow limited stop service, becoming Oxford and later Thames Travel 871 before passing to Lewis in February 2022. Since then the bus has undergone extensive restoration work and received a high quality repaint with equally high quality graphics, exactly matching the livery it carried midway through its working life.
Lewis will be operating CB51BUS in service at the Chesham Classic Bus Running Day 2025 on Sunday 28th September.

Vorige week vrijdag was in Ede, daar werden wat van de 12m gasbussen op de foto gezet. Er werd ook even een Mercedes op de foto gezet. Deze zien we op de Molenstraat, met de molen in de achtergrond.
Die Wolfsburger prahlen nicht nur gerne mit ihren Autos, nein, auch auf den Bussen wird dem Passanten eindrucksvoll Werbung vermittelt. So auch auf Wagen 036, der hier gerade eine morgendliche Fahrt der Linie 201 zum Mörser Winkel bedient. Ein knalliges Blau ziert werbetechnisch den Gelenkbus aus dem Jahre 2010.

It was definitely the worst day of the week to test a foldable E-Bike... But still good enough to picture one of 9 Citaro standard autobuses of AHW during my test ride. As the new MAN Lion's cities of the enterprise are running mostly around Horgen and Thalwil, the C2 cover the vast majority of Wädenswil services as circular route 123 to Gulmenmatt.
